We “work hard, play hard”. In my experience this means the NFL Los Angeles Rams Autism Accept Understand Heart Love Shirt in other words I will buy this employer want to work you like a dog and justify it by buying you a beer every now and again Using the phrase “great opportunity” anywhere in the job listing and not mentioning anything about compensation. In my experience, honestly, most jobs that are east to get are nightmares. Makes it hard to find a good one. 🙁 Any job that says competitive pay and benefits. That just says so low we don’t advertise. Family owned and operated. That says hey you can only get so far in the long run because you’re not related. Anytime religion pops up. I live on the edge of the established Bible Belt, but ‘sin in the streets, worship in the pews, and damn the nay-sayers’ is still a big problem here. The moment references to religion pop up, I know right away the employer is going to be a judgmental, self-righteous, holier-than-thou type who will occasionally proselytize at the workplace. I’ve been there, I’ve worked for them for money, and I’ve been fired because I’m not fucking a Bible hard enough. I’m Luciferian, dammit, and no, that doesn’t mean I sacrifice babies. The pursuit of knowledge is my religion. I need concrete evidence of shit, not some imaginary guy in the sky to judge me, regardless of the fact most of the believers are going to Hell anyways, the fucking hypocrites.

I had an interview once where the NFL Los Angeles Rams Autism Accept Understand Heart Love Shirt in other words I will buy this boss was telling me how much her current staff sucked. I turned them down and it was a high paying job. “we’re a family here” and “no drama” means they want to get away with exploiting you and expect you to shut up and take it While that sounds good on the surface, what it really means is “you’re paid on commission in a low-level sales position, such as retail or door-to-door.” Means there is no management, no process, you’re going into a meat grinder with shit management and demanding customers and they will want you to just figure it out on your own.
