It makes me happy. I grew up bi in a very close-minded town. Growing up around people being disgusted by something that isn’t wrong and also is none of their business makes me really happy when I see gay couples living and enjoying life together. I probably don’t notice, but if I do it would make me feel more comfortable in whatever area we’re in. I’m queer, if I see other queer people who are happy and relaxed I’m happy It makes me so fucking happy and im not really sure why. I think cos I live in a country that when I was at school, we weren’t even allowed to be told that gays exist, that when a gay kiss was shown on TV, the NFL Kansas City Chiefs Santa Hat Logo Christmas 2023 shirt also I will do this papers the next day were full of slurs and that was acceptable. Now gay marriage is legal and there’s a lot more representation in media, but there are still pretty regular hate crimes, so that a gay couple can feel comfortable presenting as a couple still feels like a novelty to me. I wonder if older generations felt that way with mixed-race relationships… I wonder if the novelty will ever go away… but it makes me happy to see. Is it because one or both of you good looking? Or dress really well? Don’t assume it’s the bad kind of look when it could actually be a compliment kind of look.

I think ‘awww cute!’ In the NFL Kansas City Chiefs Santa Hat Logo Christmas 2023 shirt also I will do this same way I do when I see old couples holding hands, then I go back to whatever I was already doing Personally (as a fellow queer person) I’m thinking I want to say hello and acknowledge you aren’t the only gay person in the room! I love seeing lgbtq+ couples in public, it makes me feel safe and welcome. Buuut as much as I want to say “hi,” I’ll just smile at you and keep my excitement to myself because I don’t want to come across as strange lol I’m bi, it brings me a rush of queer joy to see same sex couples in public. I look very straight I think, and I’ll often worry that my look is mistaken for judgement I don’t care . However , I live in Texas so it highly depends how you act . I’ve heard comments from cis people such as “I don’t care if they are gay but do they have to be so in your face about it.” Literally makes me scream .
