I would imagine that the division leader at the time wasn’t as far ahead as the Ravens are now (8-2) so there was still at least some potential for some sort of miracle comeback if they ended up winning out and whoever was leading the division lost everything. He’s still on the books for Cincinnati next year. So now they’re going either try to trade him this offseason and throw whichever sorry SOB they drafted right into the meat grinder like Jets ala Darnold, or they let his contract expire and they don’t get anything for NFL Cincinnati Bengals Heart City Logo shirt. The smart thing would be to let their unlucky pick ride the bench for a year while they desperately assemble an O-Line, but they won’t do that because they’re the Bengals.

It gets more complicated than that because other teams can end up 8-8 to make tiebreakers that won’t go to head. You’d only need four 9-0 teams, in theory, if one of NFL Cincinnati Bengals Heart City Logo shirt is the division leader and the other 3 are all in the same division. That would require a whole lot of very late divisional games though. People are saying week 9 but I think it could be earlier than that depending on the schedule. Let’s say the Bengals end week 8 with an 0-8 record. Likewise, the Steelers and Ravens both have an 8-0 record without having played each other. Can the Bengals win the division?
