I use them to Airplay my currently playing music directly to my Apple TV when I get home and scan it. Interesting! Never thought about that. What other use cases for these? It’s more like NFC South Division Champions 2019 New Orleans Saints Logo shirt makes automation way easier to run or more personalized for your routine. For example, when you leave your house, instead of asking Siri to run an automation, you can just tap your phone on the tag to turn off all lights or thermostats and stuff. You could enable/disable WiFi or Bluetooth or DND when you tap it, like placing it near a charging mat when going to sleep.

It could be as simple as opening an app in a certain location e.g. sticking the tag near a smart scale and opening the app when you scan the tag or playing music when you enter the kitchen. Every time you do a passive scan it notifies you to visit their website in safari. Is there any way to remove that? I bought these exact ones the other day and when I go into Shortcuts and set up a personal automation, NFC South Division Champions 2019 New Orleans Saints Logo shirt won’t scan. Do I need to do anything else with them before it will work with Shortcuts?

Mine work right out of the box… maybe use the top of the phone near them? Did you do the setup part to identify the tag when you first create the automation? That was the problem!! I didn’t know NFC South Division Champions 2019 New Orleans Saints Logo shirt was the absolute top of the phone that needed to scan them. I thought it was just a general area on the back of the phone. Thanks! I believe this works with any Airplay speaker, although you could just use the Handoff feature coming in iOS 13 for that and simply wave the iPhone near the HomePod.
