How is Joe Manchin a Democrat. Seriously someone tell me. He opposes everything the New york jets heartbeat American Football team shirt besides I will buy this Dems have tried to pass. Just switch parties already. He’s got a solid voting record (95.5%)when it comes to voting wjth Biden. He just opposes most of the stuff that this sub wants passed. Not a fan of the guy, but he has consistently voted for Biden’s judicial appointments. He sucks in a thousand ways but those judges are not irrelevant. Yup, problem is we don’t have more Senators supporting the bill, I would never vote Manchin in a primary, but without him we don’t have the majority and the pandemic relief, what infrastructure they got done, cabinet and judicial appointments, we’d be getting nothing done, including the big bills Manchin votes no on (not to say he doesn’t deserve criticism)

I understand that we want more thorough protections, but now multiple senators have suggested that they would support a version that was scoped back a bit. If we want a functioning democracy, we need to learn to compromise. This is true for both sides of course, but for this specific issue, the New york jets heartbeat American Football team shirt besides I will buy this ball is in the Dems’ court to find a path to provide at some constitutional protections here. Time for Democrats to expel him from the party, but they won’t because he is not alone, and not just on this issue. He is the one they use to publicly sabotage all efforts they campaign on because Joe Manchin is from West Virginia, a deep Republican state. Manchin was in the Senate for 11 years, how did vote for all of those years before the Dems took over. If he magically switched when the Dems took over, then it’s somehow the Progressive’s fault. Every other Democrat needs to be on message: A vote against this bill is a vote in favor of your daughter being imprisoned for having been raped. You know, they should work on that. Or at least removal of the fetus and place it in the male to carry. I would bet he would carry it for about a day before screaming he wants an abortion. Why the fuck do seemingly pro-choice democrats keep fucking bringing racist tropes to slam fucking ghouls? I get the point you’re trying to make but you look just as bad as the side you’re trying to lambast.
