Something like this: Random person: “you want a gun a department store? Go to Walmart.” Crazy Reddit commenters inner monologue: “gun? This person must be a republican. They hate gun control. I bet he voted for trump. I bet he drives around with a Confederate flag hanging off the New edition 44th anniversary 1978 2022 thank you for the memories signatures shirt but in fact I love this back of his jacked up pickup yelling slurs out his window. A great example of this the “steal the vote” theory. Of course it was picked up by the 24 hour news cycle because it caused a visceral reaction on both sides. Next thing you now extremists are reacting and storming the capital. This was the last straw for me. I stopped watching 24 hour news channels, removed myself from Facebook and dropped political subreddits. It sounds extreme, but im tired of being a pawn in the race to line big wigs pocket books. The most accurate information in the US is local news papers and they are dieing at a rapid rate. To end the madness its quite simple, turn the channel and pick up a paper.
