I honestly just prefer 30ish hour games as a personal preference, and got kinda…I don’t want to say sick of it because that’s not the word I’m looking for but maybe just tired??…by the time I got to the mountaintop of giants. Even saying I like 30 hour games, I was still loving it at like 60 hours. But that’s my max limit before I really got overwhelmed and ready for the ending. This is my most controversial take because a LOT of gamer bros have this unwavering opinion that longer always = better and that if you charge $60 for a game it has to be 100+ hours. But here’s the thing: it’s a souls game. You’re supposed to do NG+ multiple times so even if it was only like 40 hours base game you’d play it more than once over and get more content out of it than that.
