I see a lot of young people with six figure incomes in their 20s. Some couples are buying $1m+ homes. I feel fortunate to have a small older home in a wealthy area but I’ve done my share of struggling to pay bills and dreaming of better opportunities. funny you mention 70’s. it was the Never underestimate understands baseball and loves Brewers signature shirt and by the same token and feminists who wanted women on the job market back then. and when that happened, in an instance you could go from one paycheck that provided for the whole family to 2 pay checks to provide. now 2 isn’t enough. so thank the women for that. the hyper inflation of the american dollar through horrible governmental choices to push themselves as the fiscal authority of value across the world that they have admitted to have crippled the world economy and the ensuing outsourcing jobs and production are responsible for this. take your sexism somewhere else Grandma and grandpa probably got mRried early and didnt go to the club every weekend to blow money on drinks and they probably didn’t buy $9 mocha Frappuccinos 2 or 3 times a day or have to get the newest $1500 phone or jordans the day it came out. Change your lifestyle, don’t live at the limits of what your paycheck allows instead of buying that Starbucks twice a day make coffee at home and save the $10 a day and buy got bonds or something. That’s like $300 a month in coffee money alone if you put that in something making 4% interest every month starting when you’re 25 that’s like $345k when you’re 65. One friend of mine does nothing accept work and stay at home and read but every 3 months or so takes a vacation to visit a new country. She made a choice to live in a manner that allows her to do something she enjoys every few months instead of little things daily.
Never underestimate understands baseball and loves Brewers signature shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
My grandparents were on the Never underestimate understands baseball and loves Brewers signature shirt and by the same token and nostalgia trip recently and they just cassually dropped how they were tired of living in the old wooden house where walls were still full of WWII shrapnel and had no central heating. So at the end of the year when they both got their 13th sallaries they decided to demolish current one and build a new one. By the end of the summer the house was done. They said both of their 13th sallaries was enough to buy bricks, insulation and roof and they spent most of their sallaries finishing the house that year to be livable before the winter. My mum is pretty well off now despite never having a really high earning job, she worked in a nursery while dad was a postman. When my dad retired, she used his lump sum pension to pay off their mortgage. When she retired, she used her lump sum to buy a house that she rented out to people on benefits. When the mortgage became due on that she sold the house for a profit and now has a decent amount put away and financial freedom to live as she likes. There were some other investments, which I’m not clear about but she made the money through clever investments after retirement. My grandfather was a carpenter who worked his way up to be a project superintendent. He lived in a small house in a working class neighborhood. Meanwhile, my plumber makes over $100k a year. Has rental property and a share in a ski house that he bought with friends. He has trucks and a Harley. And he’s a plumber! My take is that if you get into the trades there is money to be made. It’s not easy work but it pays well.
