All that being said, I’m still against the Never underestimate football and loves Dolphins signature shirt also I will do this death penalty in any form… but this is an improvement over current forms. This is fine. Now they have a way of dealing with people who commit treason, right? Like people who stage a violent insurrection in an attempt to seize power? Right? But knowing Alabama what they’re really going to do is go after a 14 year old who tried to abort a rape fetus, aren’t they? As somebody who’s against capital punishment I still see this as a good change. This is one of the most “painless” ways you can execute people and since capital punishment will likely be used against innocent people if it’s going to exist it’s vital to make sure it’s as painless as possible.

The ghouls talking about how ethical it is are missing the Never underestimate football and loves Dolphins signature shirt also I will do this real ethical dilemma that capital punishment is unethical because you cannot unkill an wrongful conviction. If I was being executed and had to choose I would ask for a large amount of pure heroin that is on a drip that steadily increases the dose. 349 more repliesI don’t wanna sound “pro death penalty” because I’m definitely not, but compared to the mix of experimental injections that death row prisoners currently receive (which do not always work initially), I’d way rather just breathe nitrogen. Definitely more ethical then the current barbaric chemicals they use. What a complete shit show of a state and country though. Why is it the least Inhumane? Because breathing pure nitrogen causes extreme drowsiness before unconsciousness and death. Since it’s so close to Oxygen, your brain doesn’t trigger the feeling of suffocation. Quick, simple, easy, but it still takes someone’s life, even if they are scum. Well… The issues with Alabama specifically and capital punishment in general aside (which, it is worth noting, are NOT small things)… Nitrogen hypoxia does sound like one of the more humane ways to end someone’s life, if you’re going to do so. Like, if I were going to choose to end my own life (say, due to a terminal illness), it sounds like the way I’d go. That of course down not address the larger issues here, that AL (and much of the rest of the USA, particularly the south) is an absolute nightmare of draconian laws and rampant human rights violations. Agreed. The fact that they haven’t already switched to this and have tried to maintain lethal injection supplies, which for anyone else reading is horrifically painful (ALL of your pain nerves firing at maximum until you die), or have the firing squad brought back if you’re Brad Little in Idaho, is indicative that the cruel nature of the punishment is part and parcel for them.
