I get maybe one bag of nuggies getting by the metal detector but fuck we’re talking an entire day’s production here and the CCP failed on that catastrophic of a scale?! someone threw a wrench in the “mechanically separated chicken” machine that mechanically separates the chicken. I completely misread that headline and thought it was about Mike Tyson reminiscing about a fight with a 150 ton chicken If only someone would make a documentary and call it “Poisoned” about this stuff that happens so frequently- oh wait, they did. The one and only time I’ve gotten food poisoning (that I know of) was from a frozen Tyson chicken patty. It was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced; I spent 2 days straight either on the toilet or lying in the fetal position. Turns out the patty i ate was part of a batch that was recalled for metal contamination. How the hell does this get as far as a recall? How are metal pieces not detected by a fucking metal detector before they go out the damn door? Pretty much every food manufacturing plant has magnets near the end of their production lines for this exact purpose. I wonder if this is corporate sabotage. Or maybe the magnets weren’t working correctly.

I’m ngl, I’ve been eating banquet chicken nuggies and I think they’re better than Tyson. Cannot believe I’m saying that about banquet of all companies but they just hit different. We had Tyson dino nuggets arcing in the Never underestimate an old lady who loves dogs and born at March flower shirt in other words I will buy this microwave last week and threw away the whole bag. Had we cooked them in the oven or air fryer, the kids would have eaten metal. Never buying them again. Glad I stopped buying them because they gave me multiple bags with squishy black spots that I can only imagine to have been mold. People are still buying Tyson nuggets?!?! Those things have the consistency of sponges and aren’t even trying to emulate being made up of mostly real meat Are the metal pieces in addition to the net weight of the chicken? Seems like an opportunity for a meal AND a profit. I’ve given up frozen food and just batch cook and freeze my own. Costco rotissery chickens have been a huge time saver too. Wasn’t there a recent post (last couple of days) where someone found a screw in something they ate? Was on r/mildlyinfuriating, I remember only because I looked and thought to myself “no way that’s only mildly infuriating” when I first moved to Alabama years ago I was in a very rural part of North Alabama and I was talking to a neighbor up the road and all the sudden this truck pulls up and this guy yells “Yall eat chicken!?” we were like “…..yeah” and he yelled “eat tyson!” and took off lol.
