If you’re not too cool for skinny, I wear my St.Johns Bay ponte pants from JCP several times a week and have for years. I usually score them on sale for $12. Perfect business casual pant that feel like leggings but look like work pants. I used Bandolino Blue khakis (aka jeans in beige and green and brown) in college/beginning work. They lasted a good 5 years, which is amazing for me. But these days, that brand got very expensive. Land’s End pants are nice. Buying online may or may not work for you though. Ann Taylor work pants are nice too. But they are thinner, don’t last as long. I’m still looking, personally. I put my pants into laundry bags, use an environmentally friendly liquid, wash in cold water, and hang dry them. Chemicals and heat destroy fibres and make them fragile. You might want to try this out before dropping lots of money into expensive clothing and then accidentally destroy them too 🙁
