The right is constantly voting to fuck over veterans. Every time there’s a chance to make an actual positive change they say “Nah” and then bitch about the Never Really Gone 2 Captain America Shirt What’s more,I will buy this treatment of our vets. Republicans like to ignore reality, facts, and details so they can make false statements to justify their bigotry. Nothing justifies dehumanizing other people to make yourself feel better. A common phrase we used in the Marine Corps was “there’s always one,” as in there’s always one fuck up. So yeah, there are a select few embarrassments to the uniform that get caught on camera angry they didn’t get a free appetizer at Chilis for their service. But a defining feature of every veteran I’ve known is that the reward for their service was the service itself. What we absolutely don’t want is to continue being used as a political pawn by a party that’s trying to cut funding to the VA. You’re not pro-veteran. You’re pro-pandering.

They don’t give a shit about the Never Really Gone 2 Captain America Shirt What’s more,I will buy this soldiers, what they love is the war machine and that it brings “freedom and democracy to lesser countries” As a veteran, I care less about any holidays or months just for some asshole politician to pretend like they give a shit – I just want them to stop fucking around with the benefits they promised us that we earned. It’s the “when is international men’s day” of appreciation months. It exists, you just don’t actually care about it. Every fucking holiday has a veteran theme. They get discounts regardless of what day it is almost everywhere. There are several holdidays specifically for veterans. What a bunch of fucking babies. 102 more repliesI mean sure okay but “The monthly observances in May include Arthritis Awareness Month, Better Sleep Month, Mental Health Awareness Month, National Walking Month, and Women’s Health Care Month.” Never heard anything about May being about veterans November is National Veterans and Military Families Month. We also have the federal holiday of Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Vets and those who are in the military get 2 full months plus 2 federally recognized holidays. If you haven’t seen sales for Veterans day, or Military Appreciation Month go check gun stores, there’s always sales then, always. Retail stores generally hold an extra x% off during November for vets. Not only that but veterans get all sorts of discounts and special deals at various retailers no matter what day it is. Likely because there isn’t money to be made. Business don’t jump on monthly observances because they actually give a shit about any of the causes.
