A big part of the Neelix And Chill Vintage Apparel T-Shirt and by the same token and problem is parents taking a ‘my child, right or wrong’ stance. If parents accepted that their Little Dear is actually a complete Little Shit at school and instead sided with the teacher, we wouldn’t have passionate teachers drummed-out of the profession. I hope parents of the pupils who were sworn-at by this teacher, petition the school not to discipline the teacher. Totally. On the other hand, there are also a lot of parents who are more in a “my child, always wrong” stance, and honestly they’re a much bigger problem for everyone. I don’t envy or blame this guy on the surface of it. I just hope he has support and this isn’t his usual behaviour, and those kids learn from it, and that the parents and principal are rational human beings about it.

Would you think it’s better to call them lazy? I might agree with that. If followed up by (still yelling, lol), YOU CAN DO BETTER (because they CAN!), the Neelix And Chill Vintage Apparel T-Shirt and by the same token and situation would be improved? Given that they were being yelled at after having accomplished not even the most trivial level of work in an hour… It’s a hard situation, sometimes a not-so-gentle nudge can wake someone up, but I doubt a life was ever changed by a bout of shouting in a classroom. So, what should the teacher do? Watch them let another year slip by before getting a go-nowhere job because they fucked up school and didn’t go to university and were too lazy to learn anything on their own? “Lazy” is slightly better, because it’s not a condemnation of their character it’s an evaluation of their attitude; attitude is behaviour and therefore can be changed so the very exchange is implying an imperative to change rather than simply an expression of anger. However, I would still say calling your students lazy is probably not going to help, even if it’s true and feels good at that moment. The natural reaction to this is not “oh gosh, I will strive to be better”, it’s “fuck you. If I’m lazy, it’s because you’re boring” .
