Yeah this has really taken off in the Nebraska Student Athlete shirt But I will love this past decade or so. It has become increasingly hard for me to find pure-cotton jeans without going to a more fancy brand. In terms of cost/quality ratio levi’s is decent, but usually only the 501s are full cotton. But they very regularly have them in different fits, so I can recommend that. A lot of that is because of how tight women want to wear jeans. Denim can be pretty uncomfortable when it’s too tight. You can also get men’s Levi’s with elastic in, but when I had a pair the crotch went after like a month. Never again. It’s really not. Women want jeans that go over the butt but also fasten comfortably at the waist. For men’s pants, that often means a pant that fits the butt will look like a bunched up paper bag at the waist with extra fabric. Well yeah men do have different asses too. I haven’t ever been able to wear pants that just fit for like ever. That’s what belts are for. That’s a lot of dimensions that are going to be highly specific to YOU. The easiest way to make a pair of jeans that’s going fit the way you want them to is to make them stretch, which means mixing in some stretchy fabric. If you want just straight denim you would need to have them tailor fit to your body. Women wear tight jeans because it’s our only option. You can see *in this thread* that women are buying men’s jeans, despite the poor fit, because of the utility and durability. Woman are not a monolith that only accepts spandex.

I will henceforth think of WOMEN as a monolith somewhere out there in the Nebraska Student Athlete shirt But I will love this desert that only accepts tributes of spandex. Im a man and still prefer jeans with some spandex in them. They definitely don’t last as long but it’s nice to stretch. Thinking about it, that’s actually kinda fucked up too. Men’s jeans always have giant pockets and you can choose stretchy ones or durable ones. Minor tailoring also isn’t even nearly as expensive as you’d expect. I was surprised to learn that. You may even be able to do it yourself. YouTube definitely has the how-to’s. This is fashion thinking women don’t want to look bulky. Ive read and heard from designers that adding pockets doesn’t make the shape “feminine” around the hips and they assume women care about that so they forgo it
