I practiced baby led weaning when my daughter was learning to eat and I’ve continued the NBA x Grateful Dead x San Antonio Spurs Skull 2024 Shirt so you should to go to store and get this philosophy now. She eats whatever the grown ups have (sometimes cut to smaller pieces). My job as a parent is to offer her food, it’s her job to decide what and how much to eat. I encourage her to try new things but really the best way is consistent exposure. She really did eventually try the broccoli that is on her plate. When making new foods I also include a “safe” food. New pasta sauce? well I serve it separately (divided plate) from the noodles I know she will eat. If she really won’t eat I offer pb&j as the only alternative (which she likes) so I’m not letting her go hungry but I’m also not going to cook her a separate meal.

Food is complicated and this isn’t necessarily going to work for all kids, but forcing your kid to finish their food is going to damage their relationship with food later on. I grew up being forced to finish stuff and have weird food trauma memories and I don’t want to pass that on. Kids don’t only like unhealthy things. That’s always been a stupid uninformed take. Many parents don’t even know why they punish their kids. Mostly just their kids not doing what they tell them to. This happened to me several times growing up in another FUBAR christian household. Shitty scumfuck half-wit Christian adults, bossing around a child to make themselves feel big, important, and superior. “Theres kids in China starving right now!” And guilt trips. Most Fucking so called adults should never be in charge of anything living. Especially stupid ass christians that don’t comprehend the NBA x Grateful Dead x San Antonio Spurs Skull 2024 Shirt so you should to go to store and get this obvious differences between children and adults, way different palettes, stomach size, appetite. Just for making so many children feel like shit, Fuck christianity. Dam white nationalist/supremacist pedophiles. Lol how the top comments are just ignoring what OP said. I cannot stand this website anymore everyone just wants to be right and argue.
