It’s the Naz Reid Minnesota Basketball Player shirt and I love this difference between social and medical. For the most part social is the important part which is gender (man/woman/NB). It’s how you refer to and treat someone. This is the one trans people care about. The other side is medical, your sex (male/female/intersex) which is pretty much just defined by your junk and is only relevant in the context of sex and some medical procedures and treatments. Trans people don’t deny their sex as it’s still relevant in certain contexts, it’s just irrelevant in the vast majority. Remember that no trans person is arguing that sex isn’t real. They are painfully aware of their junk and just acknowledge that it’s not important most of the time. When you say everyone who has a dick is male, it’s considered offensive as it’s rather misleading and uses irrelevant info to try to override the social aspect, defining someone by their junk. For an extreme example, under this logic, if Dave Batista turned out to have a vagina, we would have to start calling him mrs and everyone would get weirded out if they went swimming at the beach with shorts and no top. Meanwhile, if Scarlett Johansen had a dick, she could pull off the same combo and no one would bat an eye as she’d just be a dude chilling at the beach to them. I like terfs too. They have a grip on reality. Terfs don’t believe women are a bunch of walking Vajayjay. Terfs are saying that being a woman is linked to biology not feeling. Feeling and actually being a woman are two different things. One is based on observable evidence, one is based of delusion and narcism.

“Feeling” arises from biology. You’re reading this by virtue of cellular activity in your brain. Whether or not you want to respect pronouns, etc, has no bearing on the Naz Reid Minnesota Basketball Player shirt and I love this fact that some people’s brains tell them they’re a different gender than their junk. It’s their biology and no feelings from you can change that Okay but while oop is stupid with their “bring masculinity back again,” in no place did they say a woman is a “walking pussy.” Commenting on am argument that was never made is a fallacy, and invalidates one’s argument. Makeup and dresses makes no one a woman. Also, the “pink” commenter is making a very TERF type of argument. And what the “blue” reply did was describe basic TERF ideology in a very crude and hostile way. So no, not invalidated. Misplaced maybe. But not invalid. The reply is typical of the ignorant misogynistic put-downs women get when they point out that there is no such thing as a female identity. Just because women acknowledge that their female body makes them women and that their oppression is sex-based, does not mean we reduce ourselves to our parts. What it does mean is that anyone who is not born a woman cannot become one through pronouns, surgery or “feelings”.
