I’m taking 18 credit hours of college, I work a full time job, and I’m way to young. Once I’m older, have the Native American headdress art shirt Besides,I will do this time, and I’m sure of myself I may have kids. With how flooded the foster care system is I almost would much rather adopt kids than have them. Maybe I’ll have my own biologically at some point, but I’d prefer to get some kids out of the system. I have friends who went through foster, and it sounds just terrible in most cases. Ecological collapse, climate change, the inevitable downfall of capitalism. I just don’t feel like having to tell my child about the good old days when I had salmon for dinner and used drinking water for the toilets. I’m 16 and not being able to provide a better life to them than having to live the same life even though I have a good life but I want them to have a better one. I’m in my early 30s and feel pressure to make this decision. It’s such a monumental decision and I just don’t take it lightly at all. I had an idyllic childhood and always felt so optimistic about the world. But it the last decade it’s started to really feel like the world is headed in a worse direction, and I don’t want to bring kids into a world that will be less enjoyable.

I will have to spend every single day working to afford kids in todays economy and my job. If I have a kid it would devastate me to miss that time. With the endless problems in this world that are created by the greed of the few I know that I will never be able to do anything but work until I literally drop dead, because this country is just that broken. Yes, I live in America. I like spending money on frivolous things that make me happy. I like having peace and quiet. I like my body. I also don’t feel it would be right to have a child and pass down my mental illness and poor eyesight. And due to said mental illness I don’t think I would be a good parent. I can barely take care of myself as it is. I’ll stick with a cat 🙂
