In order to live under a yellow sun, they would have to do one or the other, and often times both, so it wasn’t worth it to them. neither their bodies nor their psyches are immortal, some people would be homesick and not really value heightened powers in a place where you either won’t enjoy the incentives of their values system, or have anything in common or of mutual appeal to the local populace

T-Shirt but in fact I love this dog, all the Kryptonians in Kandor which Brainiac stuck in a jar, all the Kryptonians stuck in The Phantom Zone, and Doomsday. I’m no expert but doesn’t it take time for life to evolve. So a young star would have fairly young planes surrounding it. Therfore you could be the God, of noone but yourself. It be a cool side movie tho. Superman’s on a planet with life, and I’m pretty sure Jor-El sent him there intentionally so it’s not like it was unknown to the Kryptonians. OP meant a star like ours which is yellow and therefore young compared to krypton’s red star. Last time I checked there are living things on at least one planet orbiting our sun. Assuming it’s an uninhabited world, every Kryptonian would be a “superman” on that planet so no one would he super. It just cancels itself out. Over the past 85 years (1938 to present), Kryptonians became more advanced. 50 years ago, I assumed that Kryptonians had shitty spaceships which is why Superman was all alone. If they had spaceships like the Enterprise, there would have been 400 people on board including his mother. The explanation would depend on which version of Superman you are talking about. I like the cannon that only the higher ups knew that they would be empowered under a yellow star and the reason they didn’t intervene and let the planet blow up was to protect the universe from 10000000 potentially evil supermen Why don’t you go live on an anthill and live like the god of ants? I’d imagine it’d be a nuisance being constanly surrounded by lesser beings. The vanity of it would wear off. Didn’t they outclass us physically, as a society and technologically?
