South Koreans simply need to be friendlier to other human beings besides their own citizens. They do not treat tourists well either. In the East he chose his professions, was given a timetable and went to school, in the West he had to navigate a complex Web of education providers, unaware of how to determine the quality of a course or how it might relate to his chosen profession. He no longer had access to many sporting activities as only the best made the teams and the amateur divisions were poorly funded and not taken seriously. He became confused, anxious, restless and longed for his life in the East where the basic necessities of life were taken care of and he could focus on relationships, art and music…

Therefore there is no serious intention by South Korean society to absorb North Korean refugees even though there are government funded and supported programs.
