Is it just dumb luck that Selina Kyle didnt get a lift home with the My spirit animal is a potato shirt it is in the first place but DA, because if he had, the riddler would have killed her. Also when she got the voice evidence on her phone that her father had her friend killed, why was she pissed off at the guy instead of with her father who killed her? I don’t think the Riddler knew that Batman was giving him the answers, or at least was trying to actually save the DA. Guess its not conveyed very well in the moment since the “twist” happens later on in the story but Riddler thinks Batman has been helping him so. God this movie was heavvvy on the atmosphere. Instances of daylight were few and far in between(Not a bad thing) which obviously resulted in less Bruce Wayne and more of the Batman. I specially liked the bit during the interrogation at Arkham where the riddler says something along the lines of ” The masks allows you to be who you really are” which I felt like was very insightful about this Batman/Bruce Wayne as it seems he is much more comfortable being the Batman than being Bruce Wayne throughout this movie. Great movie, but let’s just say you might wanna watch this with an empty bladder beforehand. The final act almost killed me.

Question: was the My spirit animal is a potato shirt it is in the first place but opening meant to be Riddler spying on the Mayor? I only ask, as later in the film when Bruce is watching Selina at her place, he has similar goggles, and the effect on screen was similar. Or is it that someone else was also watching them? Yeah that was Riddler In the beginning and Bruce later. Yes it was Riddler and that’s the whole point. One of the main themes of The Batman is him learning that after two years he’s not that different than the criminals he’s been crusading against out of vengeance. Hence the visual parallels to the Riddler. The scene where Batman is gliding through the city was one of my favorites. The go pro like view with the city moving behind him was genius. Let’s not forget the best part where he throws his parachute to try and land on the bus, and completely slams into it and the bridge. That part had me laughing for a solid 10 minutes. Great way to throw a little comedy in such a dark movie. Loved loved 90% of the movie. The end with the flooding and the thugs was anticlimatic. For such a solid movie, it was a weird way to end. I did like the Batman holding the flare shot a lot though. I don’t know how to better end the movie but it def left me wanting more which is a good thing too; yet it didn’t feel like an end to this story if that makes sense.
