I hope that’s not true! But if it does, then I do want Luffy to have a Boruto moment but the My My Look At The Time Spooky Time Frankenstein T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this time he ever learns about it! I agree that Boruto is a disgrace. Nothing but a soulless cash grab that absolutely trivialized the ending of shippuden. Nothing but fan fiction that got published in my eyes Even though the Kaguya part was lame the aftermath was enough of a pay off to offset that. We got to see world peace become a thing in that world, Naruto becoming hokage and all the shippers got to see if their anticipated pairings became a thing. It was a conclusive and happy ending that i was satisfied with. And along comes a sequel series nobody asked for which took a big ol dump on that hard fought world peace and said “yo dawg, i herd you liek Otsutsuki. So here’s a whole heap of Otsutsuki villains that are even less interesting than Kaguya” they didn’t even give Naruto fans a decent amount of time to digest the ending and for an appetite to form for for new stories from that world. They launched into Boruto almost immediately. It was a rush job that had minimal involvement from Kishimoto and it shows

Even without Kaguya, there was a thematic betrayal i cannot abide. The whole Hard Work vs Genius thing was undone when they made Naruto a reincarnated messiah. I can understand where you’re coming from to an extent but the My My Look At The Time Spooky Time Frankenstein T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way i see it, Naruto was shown to have a very special ability from the beginning and clues to his prestigious lineage were there from the early days such as his resemblance to the fourth hokage and his family name. And I’m sure you’re referring to him being the reincarnation of Ashura and SasukeIndra. As far as that goes i know it didn’t sit right with a lot of fans but it really didn’t bother me. Because the Madara/Sasuke, Naruto/Hashirama parallels were hinted at during the first big Naruto V Sasuke fight at the Valley of the end. With all that was hinted there I’d have been disappointed if Naruto was just some from some no name schmuck of a family that had the kyuubi sealed inside him randomly.
