What you do in the Music is my drug and Joan Baez is my dealer shirt Furthermore, I will do this college matters more. Being in an IIT just gets you a good crowd, faculty and a good placement if you follow what they tell you and get a good gpa. Tier 3 colleges often are not even worth to attend so people just make getting a good job their priority instead of getting crazy good gpa. So they get a good job and its not all butterflies for tier 3 colleges here 70% students barely get a job above 4 lakh… The bad college students who get good jobs you talk about are very rare. College doesn’t matter after a point, especially in IT. It’s the skills that count at the end of the day. It’s a field where you need to be constantly evolving and learning. To be like your friends you need to be passionate and hard-working for software. Also you did biotechnology from IIT, as far as I’m aware it’s not one of the top branches. So someone who did CS at BITS or even Manipal would be more qualified unless in your 4 years at IIT you actively did CS. Stop sticking to your past accolades, seek therapy. Grow as a person.
