Yes exactly! one of the Music Catfish And The Bottlemen shirt and I will buy this tiktok/youtubers (missmeganrobinson) i like uses a product for about a month before making content and she also has notes on methods that she prefers to apply the product. im happier with waiting for a more well-thought-out review than any first impression. it’ll also save me the time from jumping through a bunch of different reviews before i make a decision to purchase/not I stopped watching 90% of influencers bc they try something once, film the first 10mins of wear and never report back. If anyone knows of influencers who actually take their time and test products please sound off bc I’m tired of rave reviews and never seeing them use it again @roseandben on ig! She does wear tests and when she recommends products she always tests them out at least 3x on separate occasions before sharing That was always the thing that super annoyed me about them. I truly think a good few weeks is long enough to know what works, and what dosn’t. Ecen my self had gotten makeup, and right away could tell it wouldn’t work. As it was breaking up on my face before I even finished.

I’m getting back into you tube, but from a beginners standpoint. So it might be a while till I’m doing product reviews, but I plan on giving everything a few weeks of testing. My own fault: seeing how a full face changes in different light. A base that’s a bit too light is worse than a bit too dark. Super cheap packaging is the Music Catfish And The Bottlemen shirt and I will buy this worst! Some products can last a year or more, the packaging needs to be able to hold up at least that long, too! I’m light/medium neutral yellowish olive. They’re either too light or too orange. I have a blue mixer but if I’m paying £30+ for a foundation I don’t want to have to do the work to get it to match me I like doing elaborate eyeshadow so it sucks when I mess up my eyeliner because I’m really not skilled enough to have found a way to fix it without completely messing up the whole look. I usually just fix best I can by adding more then rely on my glasses and hair to obscure the uneven/off wing. I actually used to do eyeliner first for this very reason. Then I would let it dry, do shadow and go over the liner again to darken it back up. These days I don’t do that but it used to be my method so I avoided screwing up my eyeshadow trying to fix my liner
