Do you realize that the MTG I Don’t Remember Jan 6th what I’m on video T-Shirt and I will buy this US democrats would be considered right wing in Germany? The third largest economy in the world with a free market, liveable minimum wage, universal healthcare and even a right to a place to live if you don’t work. Unfortunately our right wing is getting stronger and trying to make us like the US. Many people are scared of that. Why even go there? We know democrats could follow the most extreme right wing agenda and Republican lunatics would still cry about it and call it “woke”. Their entire strategy is a toxic blend of hate, disinformation, and hypocrisy. And they’re going to burn the country to ash with it. Yup i can only think of one elected politician that may be considered far left and thats Kshama Sawanton a Seattle city council woman. The way i look at it Libertarians are the far right there is a lot of them represented in the US. The polar opposite of a libertarian would be a Marxist there is zero in elected government. The Farthest left is basically social Democrats which at one time were the base of the Democratic party now they are treated like extreme left. As a non-American, I’d honestly go one further and suggest the Democratic Party are more center-right than anything else.

I see lots of America citizens call themselves left-wing, but American politicians who are actually left-wing and have any sort of meaningful power you could count on one hand. But because y’all have a two party system, they (like you) kinda just have to pick a team. Democrats seem socially liberal but conservative every other way that matters, and Republicans seem socially conservative and every thing else is “What the MTG I Don’t Remember Jan 6th what I’m on video T-Shirt and I will buy this fuck are you doing?” I’ve given up on both parties. I honestly think that we’d do better if all citizens’ names were placed in a lottery in order to choose our government officials. Voting is useless. Look what we’ve gotten. I agree with what she’s saying for sure but to me this is just saving face as well as flare from her vote no on Ukraine support. Idc what anyone says, I thought we were all on the same page that Russia must be stopped.
