And I’m aware that food in the Movements Pegasus Tour Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this United States is adaptations of existing food from around the globe , but we perfected it. Americanized Pizza is also eaten everywhere around the world. Pepperoni and New York Style slices of Pizza are eaten everywhere in Europe (excluding Italy). White American culture is just American culture. We just don’t see it that way cause Americans in general contribute to it. Whereas minority Americans cultures stand out cause they seem distinct from the dominant American culture even though they also contribute toward it in some way. Race is a construct invented in the last few centuries. A guy collecting skulls in Russia decided that a skull from a particular region was “caucasian”. Human skin color and other physical differences are on continuums. So Black Americans don’t even have a culture of their own. There are African Americans (ancestry dating back to slave ships), Black Americans with ancestors more recently from Africa, who would identify as Somali-American or Nigerian-American. Black Americans with Caribbean roots or South American roots. Etc.

So, personally, I don’t act like white Americans don’t have a culture of their own. I think the Movements Pegasus Tour Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this whole concept of white American culture is misguided and unhelpful in the discourse. FYI, on a tangent, you did know that less than 100 years ago, someone with darker skin of African origin could be kidnapped and burned alive just for looking at a “white” person the wrong way. And “white” people would mail each other postcards of the gruesome aftermath. And people would fight over who’d get the Black person’s body parts. Yeah fr. I’m white, and “white culture” by definition is racism. The concept of “whiteness” was literally invented to promote the ideology of racism. To say white people have no culture is fucking generous. White culture is the culture of theft and erasure and all the violence associated with realizing those ends. There are so many people in the world today who carry their culture despite the historic efforts of white people to destroy the line of continuity between them and their ancestors. It’s what’s happening right now in Palestine. “White culture” seeks to destroy any culture that poses a threat to capitalism.

It’s mostly black people that say this. Im Mexican and can easily see that White-Americans have their own culture. For example we consider burgers, fries, pizza, chicken nuggets, Starbucks, 4th of July, Taylor Swift, football, Hollywood, etc… Because they’re delusional. Their minds can’t comprehend that they’ve been living in the Movements Pegasus Tour Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this White culture most of their lives. Who says that? I hear the opposite. American culture is pretty much inescapable. And conservative America skews majority white. Maybe it’s because white male is the default. They don’t SAY white. Any other ethnicity gets mentioned because it’s NOT the default. As a “white” American I’m not sure what my “culture is. Basically, I’m Celtic, American Indian, Germanic (British). Italian and of course 5th generation Texan, Yee Haw. I think Americans are still developing a culture. We are a racial, nationality blended people who share different traditions that have yet to coalesce into a definable “culture”. IMHO
People enjoy insulting white people for variety of reasons. For members of a subordinated group, it can feel good to lash out at the Movements Pegasus Tour Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this oppressor class. It has also become socially acceptable in a broader cultural sense due to the fact that a large number of white people, especially in elite spaces and cultural hot spots, feel greater sympathy for subordinated groups than solidarity with their own racial group. It has become a way for some white people to signal their belonging as “progressives,” which is heavily defined by anti-racism in America. I consider it absurd, but it annoys me more so because it is just more hollow signaling of progressive bonafides. What is white culture? Is it Irish, or British, or French or Canadian, or Polish culture? How about American redneck, is that “white” culture? How much similar culture is there between American rednecks and Eastern European?? Same stupid question, why don’t we have white history month? Well it’s the same stupid answer, who’s history? French, British, Canadian ect ect
