Why exactly would you NOT press charges? Or more specifically, report it to the authorities. This woman is being stalked and harassed and you were the Montreal Canadiens Once The Canadiens Girl Always The Canadiens Girl Shirt Additionally,I will love this victim of home invasion and assault. Yes, you absolutely should press charges. Usually when you’re banging someone’s gf (doubt he’s the ex, and more so that you’re the side dude) you usually just have to take the L. Please review the following rules before commenting further: You could report it, I think in Canada the crown decides. In the US you could file a civil suit, not sure if Canada does the same. All the people telling you to file a police report are right, but I also recommend that you talk to the girl you were with to see if she is willing to file for a restraining order. That person is clearly deranged and a danger to both her and anyone she interacts with. Restraining orders don’t require as much effort nor standard of proof to obtain, and serve as both a deterrent and a additional way to punish the guy should he disobey the order. Definitely file a report. Please. People who behave like this need to be reported, for them and for others who are near them next time they can’t control their emotions. You can take him to civil court for damages but it’s the police who will decide whether or not to press Criminal charges. However if you decide to take him to civil court you would absolutely need documentation which would include a police report and medical report, without those don’t bother I think you should at least report it to police. Given how violent he is, he may have a record or even be on probation or under a peace bond not to harass this girl. This may make the police take it more seriously.
