Initial motivation: I was obese and very out of shape as a teenager. Bullied in school. I had no understanding of nutrition, calories, carbs, etc. Continued motivation: fear of being obese again one day, but as I get older (early 30s) I look at those who are my age and older who complain of feeling old, bad backs, and generally just look like shit because they’re not active. I plan to have kids soon and plan to be a very active parent! The same motivation that one has for eating, showering, pooping and brushing teeth. It’s just something that you have to do daily. Trying to intellectualize the Monsters incorporated under new management monsters at work shirt Apart from…,I will love this process will only drive you further away from it. After a point it’s not motivation. It’s a routine. Like brushing your teeth. Or making your breakfast a certain way every morning.

You can muster up whatever motivation you can to build up a solid routine (which take about a month if you’re consistent) then afterwards you just need to listen to that itch inside of you to go to the Monsters incorporated under new management monsters at work shirt Apart from…,I will love this gym. Ppl think you need some sort of unwavering motivation to go every day but most ppl kick themselves into the gym most of the time. I love it. 2. I don’t want to be an old person that’s decrepit and can’t move without assistance 3. It’s one of the only things I’m good at in life. I turned 40 this year and I haven’t gone a day in my adult life without being able to see abs so I must be doing something right. Honestly I look better than a majority of college kids nowadays and it’s great for my self-esteem. Why would I give this up? I work from home so the thought of spending time at home to relax feels off for me. I go to the gym really to get out of the house and shake up the rhythm. Though with time you build up good habits and I genuinely enjoy the space that is the gym and enjoy the progress and activeness to my day to day it brings.
