Takes about an hour to kick in, lasts pretty much all night, and is a different high. Still pleasant (otherwise I wouldn’t take them). Not sure if my liver can deal with the Monkey your ego is not your amigo limited shirt besides I will buy this toxins better than my lungs. Can’t be any worse than the IPA and trail mix I have most weekends. What edibles are you eating that have toxins? Or are you equating thc and alcohol? Because they’re different substances that the body processes differently. First you have to know the difference between how cannabis effects a person when inhaled Vs ate. If they were the same type of high many people would probably still do one over the other. Plus, everyone is effected differently when they use cannabis sometimes edibles aren’t as effective as smoking and vice versa.

This is my issue. If I did edibles, I would go broke. For some reason my body metabolizes it weird and I have to take ridiculously high doses to feel edibles at all. So would spend way too much for so little. But I can smoke one bowl and get plenty high no problem. Not sure if I’m in the Monkey your ego is not your amigo limited shirt besides I will buy this minority but, despite the fact that I know inhaling smoke is bad for me, I also really like the act of smoking itself. I used to smoke cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco too. Now I just stick to herb, but not even vapes hit the same. Sometimes I just want some actual smoke. same here. sometimes i just want the ritual/oral fixation of smoking something rather than getting any sort of buzz. In places with legal, retail marijuana edibles are very popular. I think it mostly comes down to the effort required to make edibles. It’s just easier to get a small amount of cannabis and smoke it, especially in areas where the consumption/possession/sale is criminalized. Plus lots of smokers are teenagers/young adults who live with parents that probably wouldn’t appreciate them making pot brownies in their kitchen. Lack of control. You take a few puffs, “Cool, I’ll be fine in 2 hours” You eat an edible, “This will kick in in an hour while someone is asking me something important and it’s not going to wear off until I go to bed, dammit.” Because I don’t want to have to bake for an hour before getting high and I don’t want to be completely off my tits for the rest of the day.
