By having sex with a Republican, I would be enabling their hypocrisy. Voting Republican is voting against my right to be an openly sexual person while protecting my physical and mental well-being. They’re voting against abortion, comprehensive sex education, contraception access, against sodomy, gay rights. Why would I share my body with someone who believes that I do not have the Momster Mom Monster Sugar Skull Sunglasses Leopard Halloween T-Shirt moreover I love this autonomy to make decisions about my own body as it pertains to any result of having sex with them? Exactly, my homosexual friend’s parents cannot fathom why their politics affect his opinion of them so strongly. Perhaps because Republicans vote against homosexual rights and make their child less of a human… Not all Republicans are sexist, racist, misogynistic assholes. I like to consider myself a “Republican” and i live in a liberal town with a liberal gay female roomate.

I feel like most people associate “Republican” with all the Momster Mom Monster Sugar Skull Sunglasses Leopard Halloween T-Shirt moreover I love this negative actions the extremist right do. It makes me sad. I have Republican friends thay are abhorrent and make me wonder why im even friends with them. I support womens rights, abortion, equal pay, and the whole gambit of social issues progressives do. But i also think lower taxes are good. Strong military makes sense. And immigration is an issue that cant have simple amnesty as the solution. I probably have some opinions on things that are a little more center than most liberals, but equal rights for everyone is so important to me that I vote with democrats. If equal rights for everyone is not a priority for you, and you vote for someone who will take away rights from people, you have made a choice with your vote that is indistinguishable from supporting that policy.
