By law in Israel, all workers in Israel (whether domestic or foreign) are protected by Israeli labor laws. Even Israeli factories in the Mommy Saurus Wear Santa Hat Lights Ugly Christmas shirt moreover I will buy this occupied West Bank have to abide by Israeli labor laws. Of course Indian workers will work for lower wages than native Israelis, but they’re still guaranteed (at the very least) the Israeli minimum wage, and all other affordances of Israeli labor laws. BTW, Israeli labor laws are pretty much on par with Europe. I’m sure there are examples of people working under the table and outside the bounds of the law in Israel, who may have been mistreated, but this is not the norm in Israel. For all its faults dealing with its violent neighbors, Israel (i.e. Israel proper, the area within its internationally recognized borders) really is a country of laws and regulations just like Europe or North America. Even if they wanted to, Israeli employers couldn’t treat Indians like slaves in the way that the gulf Arab states do. I find the people cautioning about treatment of labourers in Israel morbidly funny. Treatment of labourers in India is already terrible. India has some of the worst labour laws or lack thereof in the world.

What is Israel gonna do to us that an Indian manager won’t already do over here? At least we’ll get gaalis in Hebrew. It’s same world all over the Mommy Saurus Wear Santa Hat Lights Ugly Christmas shirt moreover I will buy this world rich people need poor people do lowest of the low jobs coz they themselves don’t want do it so they import labour from poors from developing countries / poor countries . Whether it’s poor Vietnamese workers in Singapore or afghan labours in Dubai doest matter how rich is the place labour get the same treatment . They all know just pay them more than then what they get in their countries and they will work like donkeys We pay them the bare minimum and put them in very questionable but barely legal living conditions, but they accept it because they work non stop for 6 months and go back to Poland and live like a rich person. The same is true for accidental deaths in India. There is no life insurance in most cases and negligence is often disguised as an accident.
