OP, I have a question; when you close your eyes, do you see pictures in your mind’s eye? I ask because I do not and I’ve always had trouble meditating because of that. I didn’t realize that everyone else DID see things in their minds’ eyes, so I’d be more frustrated walking out of a yoga class than before I came in. They’d say stuff like “picture yourself…” and I’d be like “uhhhh, am I doing this wrong?” I was 30 years old when I realized I was different so I’ve had to adapt a little. Mind blindness actually has a name, Aphantasia, if you’ve never heard of it. Just curious if that might be part of the MLB Miami Marlins Skull Rock With Crown 2023 shirt and I will buy this cause! Just observe your uneasiness, make it your meditation topic. Don’t force anything, whatever comes and goes, you just need observe without judgement.

If you can pause your activity and you are aware that you have thoughts and that you the MLB Miami Marlins Skull Rock With Crown 2023 shirt and I will buy this one who is thinking the thoughts, then you are meditating. It’s really hard to “fail” at meditating. You win just by showing up for yourself. The only way to fail is not to try. And even that’s not a failure as you can always try again in the present moment. The opportunity is always there. So here’s the thing. It’s your mind’s job to generate a stream of thoughts. That’s what it does. It’s trying to help, but it’s not always so helpful. You, as a being who exists and is conscious, are more than your thoughts. You always have the opportunity to follow each thought as it arises, or to acknowledge the thought and then let it go without further pursuing it.
