I had two kids both with epidurals. The second time the Mizu Blue Eye Samurai shirt Besides,I will do this epidural completely failed and I had no pain relief. It sucked ass (sunny side up, back labor). Some rare women don’t feel much pain with labor and good for them. Not all or most women are like that, and that woman just sounds incredibly arrogant. I’d dare her to experience 46 hours of what I went through. Mine failed with my first…. my second? IDK if it failed or if there’s just pains an epidural can’t numb. My daughter was sunny side up AND got stuck in my pelvis. I begged for a c-section and then death because it was so excruciatingly painful. They had to use forceps to dislodge her from my pelvic bone. As soon as I felt her pop out of that area, it was painless. Didn’t feel the ring of fire or anything like that. It could have been my natural endorphins, too, though. Birth is scary and can be traumatizing regardless if you have a c-section or a natural birth. Things can go wrong in a split second.

I heard it a few times irl. But said like “you’re so lucky. I wish I could’ve had a csection but I had to do it naturally” The level of disappointment I hear from many women who either got an epidural or had to have a C-section is telling. I didn’t mean to say that epidurals or c-sections are bad in any way, I’ve had both. I guess I meant that women must be getting the Mizu Blue Eye Samurai shirt Besides,I will do this message somewhere that doing it the most painful possible way is best. It’s a little depressing to hear women sound slightly apologetic about doing anything other than an unmedicated birth. Honestly I feel like a lot of answers to this question would center around motherhood. The most toxic view of femininity is that every woman is born to be a mother, and that’s the most meaningful thing a woman can do with her life, so naturally a lot of toxicity would be born from such a narrow view of what it means to be a successful woman in life
