If I get an aggressive type of cancer, I don’t want to wait a year to see a specialist. If it’s run like the VA system in our country, that’s going to be a hard no for me. Plus, how does it scale? There are 335,000,000 people here spread out over a vast area. Will the best people be willing to spend $1M on an education to be a doctor to be capped on earning potential by the government? IDK??? I’m not opposed but there are a lot of very scary moving parts. Our neighbors to the north in Canada have it and many love it until they are dealing with something serious oh and EVERYTHING is crazy expensive. Nothing is for free and free Healthcare episodes not for free.
