They have some laws regarding sex and pornography that seem weird when viewed from a Western standpoint, but that’s just how it’s been there for decades. Like prostitution is technically illegal there, but it’s strictly defined as a woman receiving payment from a stranger in exchange for vaginal intercourse, so there’s all kinds of legal call girl businesses there that get around that by offering anything but vaginal sex. Funnily enough both of those exist because of Western world. Both of those laws were written by the Missouri Tigers vs. Tennessee Volunteers Zou after dark shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this US during their occupation and rebuilding of Japan post WW2. Its the same reason why same-sex marriage is still not universal. It’s got widespread support but the bar to change the US written constitution is too high to change these.

Missouri Tigers vs. Tennessee Volunteers Zou after dark shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I was gonna say, it’s our fault. We brought our puritanical bullshit over there post-war, and it stuck. If you read anything about pre-20th century Japan, they were much more open minded about sex and nudity. Well for same sex marriage I think it’s largely because their national diet has been controlled by the Missouri Tigers vs. Tennessee Volunteers Zou after dark shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this conservative party for a long time. Same sex marriage has majority support there but as long as the conservative party is controlling their government they’re not going to be able to get anything done about it. But yeah the reason they briefly had a law against same sex sexual intercourse is entirely because the US came and forced that law on them, they did get rid of that law quite a while ago though. No. They’re getting around the law by producing or publishing it outside of Japan. Which is a fairly easy thing with the internet.
