I never fully got over it but I’m managing it a lot better now. I hope it continues. I’m enjoying the Misery Worldwide Explicit Graphic Shirt also I will do this small amount of peace I have now. It’s weird. I’ve never feared it. Obviously there’s a fear of it being painful or drawn out but actually dying not so much. I had a deep fear growing up after my dad passed away. It’s gotten a bit easier to manage overtime but the thought still lingers sometimes. I’m 33. It seems your fear is not of dying but of leaving behind those who need you. I have the same apprehension. I am assuming it decreases as your children age and become self sustaining. Also, I firmly believe a person’s faith can have an anxiolytic effect on the thoughts of death. It is possible, but unless it’s a major point of anxiety in your day to day life not really practical. The way to do it is by changing perspective to encompass larger concepts and understandings (at least that worked for me) I don’t have kids though, and kids/family have a way of keeping you pretty rooted in your perspective or reality so I don’t know how well it will work Same thing happened to me when I had kids, you get over it but every now and then there’s a reminder and the fear pops back I’m actually afraid of my loved ones dying. I don’t worry about myself. However, reading about near death experiences has been very reassuring.

I think there are tow factors you kind of need to confront, and one is much easier to deal with than the Misery Worldwide Explicit Graphic Shirt also I will do this other. First, death is simply part of life. You just need to accept that all lives eventually end, and what is meaningful is what you do with the time you have. It doesn’t need to be some accomplishment either, simply accepting that you enjoyed what you are doing with life is enough. The second, and less philosophical but also more difficult issue, is what happens after you die. Part of the anxiety, particularly in relation to your loved ones, is the fear of how your passing may affect them. The best advice I can offer on that, is to make sure your estate and will is set up, make sure you have godparents established, and there are arrangements and trusts in place. Carry life insurance, make sure it pays out to your kids and the money is protected (even from godparents.) The more you can keep these things in order, the more piece of mind you’ll be able to have that even in the worst event you’ll be able to secure a future for your family. I think it happens naturally as you get older. Oddly enough as you get closer to the grave, you lose your fear of it. That’s my experience.
