I told him ” I have 2 degrees but if you want your money you will call the Minnesota Twins Win Twins 2023 Al Central Division Champions shirt in contrast I will get this bank and ask for the credits department” . The look on his face was priceless. He just turned around and left Ma’am, if I was really below you, you probably would have a much more sunny disposition, and quite possibly be walking bowlegged. Have a nice day. Wasn’t there a meme of a FB post of some lady shitting on Walmart employees and claiming them teach. And then the next year her status changes to getting a job at Walmart? My 3rd grade teacher from over two decades ago now works as a OGP associate at my store. She was a very good teacher though one of my favorites. It’s like that when I deal with any of my dad side of the family. Most them won’t ever shop at Walmart, then kinda laugh under their breath that i work at Walmart. Most of them usually work as lawyers, or office jobs, or run they run gas drilling company. Always says I will only shop at target or trader Joe’s. Unfortunately, it’s not just Walmart, I worked for a company that was high in MIT graduates. Some of the attitudes were laughable. Think, “I designed it, therefore, it works, ” I watched more state University engineers make fools of them for the poor designs they created. Had a good friend of mine’s Aunt have that attitude when I was the Department Manager of Lawn and Garden 4-5 years ago. She told me her niece works at a Hotel/Casino near me, and they are hiring at $9 an hour, and she didn’t believe me when I said no thanks, I make quite a bit more than that here. I think people still think Walmart is paying people $7.25, even tho they should definitely pay more than they currently do. I was a training coordinator and had been at Walmart in a variety of positions for over 20 years. When they eliminated my job I was making well over $20 an hour. One of the assistant managers told me I should apply to be an assistant manager. When I told him how much I made plus over time that I got on the regular and that I didn’t want to take a pay cut, he could not believe me. People think everyone at Walmart is making minimum wage and on government assistance. You can make pretty good money at Walmart.

Yeah I think Home Office caught wind of it, or just didn’t realize they had people making that kind of money at hourly and that’s why they started phasing out those positions lol. And yes, someone did make that actual remark to me (at my store ofc) that OP shared so of course, I defended myself. And of course, Darren ftfo’d and demanded a manager. Customer proceeded to cry and play victim saying that I was “rude” and “disrespectful”. Thankfully, I had many witnesses, including the Minnesota Twins Win Twins 2023 Al Central Division Champions shirt in contrast I will get this DM (now called TL’s) who torpedoed his entire complaint. SM was called and got our ASM (now coaches) to “handle it”. Dude literally had a meltdown and demanded that I be fired for “talking back”, and to dress me down in front of him. My manager ever the rad-chad(RIP), basically went: “What I say to my associate is my business not yours. Leave the department and my store because you will not talk to him, or anyone else here that way.” Darren of course still spazzed out. Police were called and he was trespassed. Everyone had a good laugh about it after.
