I feel like a lot of men are in denial about this, are refusing to take accountability and do the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but work to improve themselves…. Thus the blame on social media, and women. You know the sad root of this? We’re failing to be adequate role models as men today. The modern male role model needs to evolve, fast. This honestly is a big reason for the rise of Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson, and Men’s podcasts. We like to dog on these outlets for being Men’s role models, but we as a society don’t push or advocate for positive male role models. It’s easy to say what’s not good, but unless we can provide an alternative for these young men who are reaching out for anything, that’s where many will look to. exactly this. more young men need positive and healthy role models and places to learn healthy masculinity. we as a society are vastly underestimating how important that is. Agreed. Role models are super important. When you have women hating public figures like Andrew Tate, it really leads lost men even further astray Yep, also from what I’ve seen on this post a lot of men just hate women, why would we want to date someone who thinks that we’re materialistic, manipulative, money hungry and shallow? The answers ITT literally paint the picture for them, so many men here speak with vitriol towards women simply for not needing them anymore, if these men put in the effort to be empathetic to women and treat us like HUMANS instead of potential lays they might be getting more action. To a depressingly large amount of them we’re still trophies and baby machines, nothing more.

I think you nailed it. Men need to wake up and get their shit together, learn how to operate at a higher standard in relationships. The emotional this is indeed an area where men are lacking behind obviously. Thing is, women are generally taught and socialized from very early on to develop their emotional intelligence. With us men however, it is the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but EXACT opposite. There is still a strong pervasive sentiment that showing emotions as a man (well, any that isn’t anger or stoicism) is very very strongly discouraged. I remember distinctly being called “gay” for crying when I was, shall we say, the punching bag of my classroom. By the girls in class I might add. Somewhat of an extreme example, but an example nonetheless. Then there are the stories of the girl breaking up with her bf over “showing too much emotion”. Men need to regulate their emotions better, that is true, but currently you get punished if you show them as a man. It’s kinda being caught between a rock and a hard place.
There have to be some changes in society before this really changes I feel. So far, the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but “get your shit together” thing hasn’t worked that much, now has it? To finish up, these last few years, all I’ve seen, from both sides of the isle, has been “no, the other group is the problem!”. Arn’t y’all getting tired of this endless men vs women discourse? I for sure am. Also the utter death of third places and communities has made relationships more transactional than ever. You don’t just date someone who you share the same space and social group with anymore, now you have to convince someone to even get out of their house/bubble. I think the cost to enter a relationship has never been lower as traditional gender roles are starting to disappear. It’s no longer automatically expected that a man will pay for a whole house, car, vacations etc. Alot of women can contribute these things themselves. Maybe the emotional investment is rising as people would generally expect their partner to be dedicated and supportive. I think in certain liberal and progressive circles gender roles are dying. But in others it’s still very much there. I come from a very low socio economic class and the”we don’t date broke men” is still pretty prevalent. And in certain traditional communities and ethnic groups they still want a man to be paying for dates and stuff.

Some information about Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts

On the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but other hand in less trad and more progressive circles I’ve seen men making 60k (median wage of my country) date women making 100k+ Mhm agreed. You can say gender roles are dying, but most men would be looked at unfavorably if he demands the check be split on the first date due to gender equality. A lot of it is online dating. When I was young, your competition was anyone who’d asked her out recently. Now it’s anyone in the city who’s swiped right on her. There have been multiple studies done that show young women now rate 80-90% of men as “below average.” So 10-20% of men are getting way more dates than they would have in the past*, and the rest are getting way fewer. there’s a limit to how many women you can run across in person & ask out in a day, sometimes you might go weeks without meeting an unmarried woman you’re interested in The same OKCupid study that showed women rated most men as below average in looks also showed that women were messaging those midrange dudes more than the hottest ones, while men disproportionally messaged the hottest rated women. So that stat doesn’t prove only the hottest guys get dates. Men can’t compete against the peace and quiet of a woman not having do deal with a partner who will not treat her like an equal in the relationship It could be partly because of a lot of young women thinking they’re 10s and only expecting to marry in shape 6’6″ people who make millions a year. As they get older, reality hits.
There seems to be a huge feminist push where straight men are portrayed as losers, and young women as the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but best at everything, getting rich instantly, not needing no man, everyone is beautiful, no one needs to change or improve, etc. so more young people choose to stay single instead of settling with someone on their level. Thanks to social media pushing these messages, more young men than before choose to play video games or do other things they enjoy instead of chasing women, and when everyone chases rhe top 10% most wealthy and attractive people, most will be single I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being a virgin, there are guys who could have meaningless sex if they put in the effort, I just don’t think a lot of men want to put in the effort honestly I also think the jordan peterson / andrew tate stuff has poisoned a lot of younger guys minds into being undateable and unappealing to women who have raised their standards of what they’ll settle for, the bar is still on the ground but it’s slightly higher than it used to be
Seeing a lot of “the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but stats” and “studies show” in this comment section suggesting nobody talking about this even knows how to read research. Second: Think through the method they used to gather their data. What population was studied is an important question, here. Bare minimum necessary to figure out what you should do with the stats you’ve found. Otherwise you’re just having a dinner table discussion that will go nowhere. Data collected probably by survey. Does “single and looking to date” just mean “not married?” Or it includes people who are not in a committed monogamous relationship and therefore are competing the fuck out of the dating market? I haven’t found the dating pool to be particularly difficult, but that’s because I concentrate on being someone beyond that A lot of them are single by choice. When I was in my 20s, I dated older men because guys my age only wanted hookups and to be FWB. The older guys had got it out their system when they were younger and were ready to settle down with one person. Most don’t even try. A lot of men who claim to be rejected by women have never even been rejected. Most believe they are already going to be rejected because they hear about it on social media, so they just decide that every woman will reject them. There are men who do try to participate but are so bad, that no woman wants them; I understand why women don’t want those men. Those men have miserable personalities and have impossibly high standards without offering anything themselves. Those men are lazy and don’t take care of themselves. Those men don’t view women as people and just want a gf or wife because they think sex will solve their loneliness. so many men are “red pilled” or whatever you want to call it now. i gave up on dating men because so many are raging misogynists now and i don’t want to deal with it
Because most young men seem to not actually like women. They are sexually attracted to them, and want sex/relationship, but when you listen to them they don’t actually like women as people. Because women have more option using the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but internet and there’s higher wealth inequality so they’re not dating broke guys these days which most of us are who are young and hookups are normalised. Do you know why dating apps stopped releasing stats? Because it was pushing guys away from using them – the statistic is something along the lines of the large majority of women finding only the top 12% of the guys attractive, while guys find 80% of women attractive. I don’t have the direct sources but the gist is that the upper minority of guys get most women matches, while the majority isn’t desirable. On the other hand, men try to match with the majority of women.
So I’d say a huge part is the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but globalization of the dating pool, societal standards (tall, rich, etc) and hookup culture leading the top guys to get all the attention while the rest of the men are not as desired. Just a theory, in real life it tends to be somewhat different. But it’s an interesting trend. I’ll edit with a source when I find it! Edit: Here’s a quick one I found “only one profile out of 100 was liked by more than 80% of women” Because women don’t need his paycheck to survive anymore. That is largely all that men have needed to provide to get a partner in the past. For a lot of women, not finding a partner was an existential threat. Now that women have equal access to the workforce, men need to actually be partners rather than just a source of funding. This is where a lot of men fall short as they lack emotional intelligence and capabilities to share domestic duties. Women have easy access to sex and can get their emotional needs met through friendships so have no real necessity to find a partner if the right one isn’t presenting itself. You actually need to bring something to the relationship these days.
The nicest guys are the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but biggest loners in my experience, when I look at my friends and workmates. The least emotionally intelligent men get the most women. The easiest Visual representation of this is the Bell Curve of How Men percieve Women on a 1-10 Scale vs How Women percieve Men on a 1-10 Scale. For Men its almost a standard Bell Curve shape, most Women are seen between a 4 and 6, with less Women viewed as either a 1 or a 10. For Women, the Bell Curve is Offset around 3-4 points, where the Majoroty of Men fall in the 1-4 Range, and 7-8s are ranked closer to 4-5, with exceedingly few Men are percieved as 9 or 10s. Be a decent human being. Stop consuming incel/mgtow/”alpha influencers” online and work on being a good person — not a “Nice Guy” but an actual decent person. Go our and meet people. You will find someone. Don’t write-off potential partners for shallow reasons. I have friends who didn’t meet their current long-term partners until they were well into their 30s. I started wooing my wife at around 28yo. Don’t rush and don’t panic. Be secure and confident within yourself otherwise you will repell potential partners. It’s partially true about the difficulty but a lot of the guys I run into that claim to be struggling so bad have only tried the same thing a million times, no adjustment and I’m like yeah you’re failing because you still smell like used socks, my guy. Some people don’t see how far a positive attitude and regular use of soap and toothpaste will get them. Dating is highly competitive and it’s a situation where you have to make a lot of adjustments. If you’re the type to sit around and cry after a few rejections you’re gonna have a bad time.
I think most men are still doing fine.. there is a small very loud minority that spends way to much time online and then complains about not being able to find a partner. I met my now husband on a dating app. The majority of men on there cannot hold a conversation, and so come of as uninteresting. But when I met my husband, we just wanted to spend time with someone who shared similar interests and liked to relax. I suspect that many men between 18-30 view women as conquests, and that can get pretty boring being constantly objectified or held to some lofty height of femininity that is just too much effort. That said, most single women I know are cultivating friendships with men, and then something often blossoms from there. Perhaps the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but reason there are so many single men is because they have no female friends and mentors, and therefore cannot connect to women on any meaningful level. Maybe they got the memo that you complete your education, get your career launched, and then start thinking about long term relationships with a like-minded socioeconomic equal. That gets you married in your 30s. 80% of women want just top 20% men, and since with internet and dating apps they have unlimited choice they just don’t agree on anything less.
While before the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but internet there were limited options for a specific woman(social circles) and more men could get at least somebody by just hitting on several women. There is too much knowledge on homo sapiens sexual selection behaviour and modern dating apps stats just confirm and enhance it all. It’s much more simple than that. When you look at actual numbers the men outnumbers the women so much that the top 10-20% of men can basically absorb the entire woman population on a dating app 1-1. It’s not a pareto rule, it’s not gaming theory, there just aren’t enough women willing to venture onto the tinder hellscape. No wonder so many women are choosing not to date. Geez… I can’t imagine partnering with someone who hates my entire gender. Actually most women date. The stats are clear on this you can check out pew research. They tend to date older and nowadays with the advent of apps, many are knowingly or unknowingly dating the same man. Leaving many men dateless and hence the disparities where its like 60 percent of men 18-30 are single and like 25 percent of men ages 30-49, while the same numbers for women in those age brackets are like 35 percent and then 15 percent respectively. The data is all out there and pew isnt the only one who has published on this. I think many men get bitter because dating for men has become like trying to land an elite tier job, whereas dating for women is much more straightforward. Doesn’t make it the bitterness or resentment justifiable, but thats the reason Because they’re unattractive, most of them probably out of shape and don’t take care of themselves. Then there’s some who are just unlucky with their genes.
The stats your citing are pretty meaningless on their own. 63 percent doesn’t seem to be all that high to me for that age range. And unless there’s been an exponential increase in lesbianism or polygamy I’m unaware of, there are always going to be more or less the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but same amount of available single women as single men at a given time statistically. As for the increased rate of virginity that’s probably due to people spending much more time interacting online than in person these days. Also GenZ (both men and women) have reported being less interested in sex than past generations had at their age. I’m older but I did meet my husband online waaaay back in the dawn of online dating, where everyone truly did think they were going to get murdered. 😂 With that said, the quality of men I met back then was absolutely wonderful. Only a few duds, tbh. Normal dudes…responsible, civil, kind, educated. Just people I wouldn’t be ashamed to have meet my parents. I see the quality of who is out there today, especially through the experiences of younger friends, and …well, yikes. I’m sure there are good people but they’re diluted out by absolute shitheads. Really emotionally immature, cruel, or plain foolish people of all genders just trying as hard as they can to get laid and move on. It’s fine if you only want short-term gratification. Long term…I mean, if that’s the dating pool you’re working with, I can’t say I’d be very inclined to participate, either. Quantity vs quality, maybe.
Work on yourself, work on your skills and your job and your friend circle. Take care of your body and your appearance and your health. Do these things and you will be successful. That being said, part of the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but problem is, there is a sizable portion of American women who treat it as though they are doing a favor to average American men by going out with them. There is also a sizable portion of men who are choosing to use women for sex and then dump them. This is imho due to the rise of dating apps where the consequences for this kind of uncaring behavior are low or just nonexistent. That’s because of the anonymity of things like social media and dating apps imho, it tempts people to be the worst version of themselves.
People are picking on social and societal norms changing, social media somehow, the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but expansion of the third place, and relatively new independence for women in general. It’s not the changing social norms that make it harder for straight men to get into relationships. I’d actually say oys the opposite: the inability to change with those norms. I know considerably more men that are attached and driven to accomplish the ideology that men are providers, and that men are in charge. You see it a lot… everywhere. Men refuse to change because that means the power dynamic shifts. Now, it’s not “women make the house, men make the check”, it’s “we have to make the house and the check together”. I see a constant stream of the Tate/Goggins types, pushing the Alpha/masc/male power, and that women who embrace the freedom that they’ve been given are for the streets/low value compared to their “high value” nature. Then, we have the complete shift of societal views of men. I can’t speak outside of my own country (U.S.), but the general view of men from an un-gendered scope is “men bad.” I’m not whining or anything, but that scope that each individual man is seen through seems to be tinted with “dangerous.”
Women live in constant fear of being attacked by men, some men who are in a relationship taint the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but more trusting women by manipulating them into isolating themselves from their male friends (and they’re gay/lesbian friends), men who befriend women and never explain they’re doing so to sleep with them/be with them and then getting upset that the women they’ve befriended won’t do so because there was never a discussion. Then we have the issue of “fast dating.” We can go through an entire relationship in a matter of days, and the very second something is mildly unsavory, one or both parties decide to leave/ghost. Dating apps have trivialized dating because the part where each party gets to know each other has been almost entirely eliminated, which is also where a lot of divorces come from.
There’s also a major lack of communication, which is almost incentivized to take place because honesty is gone. Many people don’t flat out, bold face lie anymore, but a lie by omission is still a lie. No one’s intentions are clear, no one talks about what they want, and nobody wants to face who they are, and why should they? Being who you are won’t get you who you want. A lot of this is aimed at men’s general inability to just be a good dudes, but a lot of the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but issues stems from the fact that long term relationships just aren’t fun, they’re work, and why work at your relationship when you already have to put in 40-90 hour work weeks? I’ve been in a relationship for the last 6 years, but I see my family’s KDR on marriages and unfortunately, not a single one of them has run positive. My dad is getting married for his fourth time, his mother was married four times, my mother is on her third, her parents should have divorced before I was fuckin born, my sister is on marriage two, a girl I used to know is getting her fourth. I was engaged when I shouldn’t have been, myself, kept beating a dead horse relationship until the corpse had turned to dust because I swore up and fuckin down I’d be different, I’d make it work, but the reality is, I’d rather be happy until I’m not and we can make a clean break if it ever comes to that.
People are single because they want to be, and those who are single by force simply haven’t come up to the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but times yet. This shits a give and take. To those who are single and don’t want to be, all I have to say is grow the fuck up and do better. It really is that simple, even if it is harsh. Well, things have changed. Gender roles are different, with more equality between the sexes. Money matters too – if you’re not financially stable, it can affect your dating game. Social norms are shifting, making it harder to figure out what’s expected. Plus, online dating adds a whole new layer of competition and pressure. And let’s not forget, everyone has their own preferences, so what works for one person might not work for another. It’s even harder in small town communities. 8 out of 10 girls deliberately lose their virginity to 2 out of 20+ young men within the same population. Then they go into a dating rotation where they compete over a very small minority of the most attractive young men while ignoring or demeaning the rest. Then they get into college and go into that ubiquitous “ho phase.” By this time the majority can no longer appreciate the average the guy and he becomes increasingly invisible. Just look at social media. Girls and women by the millions posting thirst traps but a disproportionately lower number of men posting – and only to show off their musical abilities, their physiques, their generous dental benefits, their expensive toys and their interesting lifestyles…all of which are unobtainable by the average Joe who lost at the genetic lottery.
I’ve sat on my laptop at a cafe for hours during an entire summer and didn’t even see any single guys come in. Just groups of women and couples. Single men don’t seem to do anything. I think they just sit on the Minnesota The Champion Of Womens Basketball Invitation Tournament NCAA 2025 WBIT Shirts it is in the first place but apps, taking scowling photos from below-chin angle with poor lighting, and wait for their 21-year-old manic pixie dream girl to swipe right on them. Alot of men need to work on themselves. I know alot who lack basic hygiene, can’t cook, treat women horribly, have porn addictions, etc. Women want life partners, not a manchild It’s a whole slew of factors, a perfect storm if you will. It’s not any one factor, but a few of the largest are: Plastics/chemicals in the food supply/environment causing decreased testosterone. Men today have around 40% less T than their grandfathers did at the same age. Since nearly every trait that women find attractive is mediated by T, it should come as no surprise that they find fewer men attractive. The same chemicals affect women (albeit less than men, but still affect them) and hormonal birth control as well, all of which changes their behavior and who they find attractive. Feminism and social media leading to a situation where there isn’t any place where men and women can hang out and/or interact in any meaningful way. Also demonizing and attacking men and male sexuality, doesn’t help at all. Lower down but still a factor (though I think far less than people actually realize) is sedentary/lazy media driven lifestyle.
