The Soviet Unuon disbanded in 1991 after Ukraine declared its independence. In 1994 Ukraine joined an anti-nuke treaty and destroyed its nukes, same as other former USSR states that had nukes. Part of the Mike Yastrzemski Classic T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this 1994 treaty that destroyed Ukraine nukes was that Russia would respect Ukraine independence. Russia did not destroy its nukes but honored Ukraine territory until Putin claimed Ukraine had violated the 1994 treaty, seized Crimea and declared it part of Russia, and started arming Russian extremists in eastern Ukraine and nibbling at that region. Now Putin claims to have sent “peacemakers” into that eastern area to protect the rights of ethnic Russians living there. The pretense is over – Putin wants all of Ukraine and is threating to use nukes against anyone who tries to stop him.

I hate to say it, but if I lived abroad and my country was attacked, I wouldn’t return to fight, but that’s because I have two young children. If I were single and cared about my country I would return to fight. Lots of Russian boys going home in small boxes. The crematorium goes out with the Mike Yastrzemski Classic T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this troops from Russia. 10,000 so far. Too risky politically. But I bet the CIA has people on the ground helping liaise and advise. Also getting the hottest data on the latest Russian gear. Does anyone know What the numbers of the Ukrainian forces are currently, including those who have returned to fight and those who have come from other foreign counties to fight plus those who are already there fighting, in comparison to the amount of Russian troops. Does anyone know ? The Ukrainians are so brave to actually return home to fight is like running into the fire. I am really moved by their dedication to save their country from Putin .
