Every fetus deserves the Mike Schlosser Player 59 Shirt in addition I really love this chance to live in abject poverty with parents who didn’t want children and simply haven’t got the means to raise them, don’t get paid enough, don’t have paid maternity leave, who live in poor areas and therefore have access to shittier schools. Nah. GOP believes a woman has no right “denying” a child from a man. Whether he be her rapist, incestuous family member, future widower, or future child support deadbeat. “The ‘unborn’ are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.”

The GOP doesn’t operate on beliefs or morals. Their direction is dictated solely by what divisive rhetoric will whip up the Mike Schlosser Player 59 Shirt in addition I really love this uneducated poor to vote against their own self-interests. The wealthy know where their bread is buttered. The party is radicalized and extremely dangerous to the common American. Arkansas’ attorney general was on the news talking about overturning Roe and protecting children. Arkansas has the fifth highest child mortality rate in the country. They don’t care about children. Life doesn’t begin at conception. Life begins BEFORE conception. The egg is a cell, it is as much alive as anything in biology. And yet every woman by choosing not to have sex each month is choosing to kill a potential life. But no one would call abstaining from sex the same as murder. The only thing that happens at conception is the egg acquires information in the form of DNA that gives it the potential to eventually grow into a human being. But it is just as arbitrary a step in the growth of a life as actual birth. There’s no way to draw bright lines and neat categories with something that comes into being as gradually and organically as life itself. I’m there with you. The only reason I’m still a registered Republican is so I can vote against Trump candidates in primaries.
