You made the Mike Gesicki American football tight end for the New England Patriots Griddy On T-Shirt Besides,I will do this right choice. I quit a service year where I really loved the work, even when I was unfairly compensated and did more work than I should have- 100% because of my manager. You can be in the perfect city, at the perfect company, in the perfect role, but having a bad manager will negate that and make your life hell…from personal experience. You did the right thing, and you’re better off without the job. Remember, you have to work with this person at least eight hours a day, five days a week, fifty-two weeks a year. If it’s bad now, imagine the hell on Earth it would be having to suffer that asshole for that length of time. Taken the job and look for a better fit. You sound like you’ve taken too much advice from TikTok — grow from it.

You made the Mike Gesicki American football tight end for the New England Patriots Griddy On T-Shirt Besides,I will do this right call. All the money and benefits in the world can’t compensate for a bad manager. You spend most of your waking hours at work. Life is too short for those hours to be spent in misery. I once actively torpedo’s an interview because the person who would have been my supervisor and the department head… well, she said “You do the work any and all times we call you” and I was saying “I have two small kids, you want me to be absent?” Yeah, no way, lady. It was not an on-call position. I turned down way better health insurance, retirement, and a 22k/annual raise over that. We would have hated each other. 87 more repliesI would have done the same, but I wouldn’t have regretted it. Having a manager I like is a major requirement of being successful at the job. If I don’t like the manager, I won’t last long there, either because they will decide to get rid of me or because I will decide I want to be away from them, or both.
