Optimism isn’t available if you’re reading, watching, and listening to your government issues propaganda. If you want to find optimism turn that shit off and go outside. Read some good books. Stop buying into the Mickey total solar eclipse April 8 2024 shirt in addition I really love this fearporn. That’s a pretty dismissive response, tbh. Like sure, media consumption has something to do with it, but you’d have to be pretty blind not to see the effects of things in your own back yard. Like, sure, I could not read a news article about digital currency and how crap that’ll be… but I can’t ignore all the banks ditching a bunch of their cash services and ATMs. I can choose not to read about immigration issues, but I can’t choose to ignore the violent riot over politics in some other country that happened right near my own sister’s house (in what used to be a quiet family neighbourhood). I can avoid the news but not necessarily the fact that there are new tent camps downtown or near the train stations. I can not be polarized; I still gotta deal with losing relationships with people who emphatically have been. And so on.

Sure, it’s good to avoid doomscrolling, but sticking your head in the Mickey total solar eclipse April 8 2024 shirt in addition I really love this sand, or acting like it’s purely a matter of spending too much time online… that’s not gonna help anything. Everything that happens is by the design of evolution and what is left by evolution was selected from potentially infinite other possibilities. Reality has always been full of challenges and obstacles, you were sheltered and convinced it was a day care forever. It isn’t. And you’re a product of evolution, and therefore designed for these specific challenges, and by facing them you evolve further. Just remember there is nothing in this world that hasn’t been faced before and there is nothing you face that hasn’t been faced by a large number of people before. Threats and dangers have come and gone, the economy has risen and collapsed, to rise again, there have been wars and there has been peace, oppressors have come and gone and freedom restored. So don’t worry about the negatives. We live in times and the future you face was undreamt of a generation or two ago. The advances in science, technology and medicine means that you can live longer, and enjoy life more. We get instant information from all around the world, we can communicate to millions of people we don’t know, we have food from all around the world, and in abundance and we are on the verge of having self drive cars. This is the stuff that a few decades ago was science fiction. The future is going to be wonderful. Unfortunately, I won’t see as much of it as you will. Go out then and enjoy it.
