The main point I think should be that trans idealogy doesn’t affect anything big, so these right wing assholes just need to chill and stick to their own lives. Nazis are a political ideology based on hatred and genocide. Being intolerant of Nazis is not the Mickey Mouse X Miami Dolphins Disney Inspired Super Bowl Football shirt also I will do this same thing as being intolerant of trans people. Of course I agree with you. The problem is the exercise in this post simply doesn’t make sense to shed light on why someone is being hateful or not. If we just replace words with other words, we twist things to mean different things especially when both parties don’t agree on the equivalent virtue of said words. For example, if we instead of keep the word trans and instead replace the negative sentiment the original tweets had with positive sentiment, we can’t just say to the authors, see, you actually love trans people. That’s the equivalent of what’s happening in this post in the mind of the original tweet authors, it’s not getting any logical point across. Fundamentally nothing has changed. They’re both sweeping generalizations against innocent groups. Its only changed meaning if you believe that the original tweets applies to trans people accurately in some way that it doesn’t apply to Jews. Nazis are the attackers. Changing those words completely changes the power dynamic. That’s why your comparison doesn’t work, but the one in the pictures does.

What point does this prove? I’m not a Matt Walsh fan, but changing his entire argument kinda defeats the Mickey Mouse X Miami Dolphins Disney Inspired Super Bowl Football shirt also I will do this entire point of criticizing him. Change out “Trans” with “Nazis”, now Matt Walsh is anti-nazi. Nah, saying they harm children, manipulated society etc… is fascist. Changing the target to Jews illustrates the fascist language. Because the statements are just as ridiculous and out of touch with reality if they say “trans” or “Jews”. You cannot switch the words to nazi and make the same point since it would be true that iradicating nazi ideology is good for society. Except the tweet is not just swapping out any word willy nilly, it’s very accurately saying that the rhetoric Walsh and Knowles are using towards a specific minority is very similar to the rhetoric used against Jews.
