I like a few of their products but both their packaging feels like something you’d find in a kids play set Kosas make up packaging reminds me of children’s make up but I don’t dislike it, I think their packaging is cute Kimichi beauty? I haven’t actually bought any of their stuff but I always be intrested in thier display when I see it as CVS.They have heart shaped palletes/high lighters, colored tubes etc. Call me old-fashioned or a snob but any of those brands that aren’t your dept store products and would sell in sephora, ulta and drugstores that come in light plastic, tin or paper cases. It gives me teen make up vibe. I’m a Korean, but a lot of cheap Korean brands give me those teen make up vibes too, because 1) it is cheap 2) it lacks color variation Benefit, Too Faced, MAC collabs with goofy packaging, Glossier lip products even though I like them (the packaging feels very tween makeup) Essence. I had a lip balm called “kiss the frog” it had a cartoon frog on the cover. I LOVED that lippy! All of the products feel juvenile but I really like the product itself. I just purchased another magic lippy from them because they work. Hate the packaging.

Fun packaging is part of the charm. Not exactly Claire’s but many drugstore brands have very tacky packaging. If you’re only in for the product itself, sure. I’m in for the experience too. It’s why I’ve transitioned to more high end. No neon fonts and plasticky glittery cases. What comes to mind is Too Faced, NYX, Essence, Revolution, R.E.M… I’d much easier mention the ones with good packaging and marketing.
