I think the Michigan Wolverines On Saturdays And Detroit Lions On Sundays Shirt but in fact I love this farthest I’ve ever driven without stopping, to at least get out and walk around, was something like 4 hours. I’ve done longer as a passenger when I was younger probably, but never as a driver. When I drove big trucks cross country in my 20’s, I trained my bladder to go 10 hours with out stopping while drinking way too many Dr. Pepper’s. To say I was dancing in my seat at the end of the day would be an understatement. Now, I can’t go more than about 2-3 hours between breaks. lol I’ve done 1300 miles plus straight through (central FL to northern MI) (19 hours). I had someone with me but could easily do it myself. As long as you’re prepared and stay alert you’ll be fine. That’s pushing it I have done it decades ago with no issue but at almost 50 now I can go about 6-8 hours and need to shut my eyes or take a walk for 30-60 minutes. 2 years ago I did the San Jose CA to Phoenix AZ in one stretch only stopping for fuel and I was dead tired (jet lag like) for 2 days. I had no choice we finished a tournament on Sunday and my son had school Monday morning. Be careful and rest when needed it’s not worth the risk to you or others.

For me: 800 miles in a day is a cakewalk, 1000 miles is still fine and 1200 miles is the Michigan Wolverines On Saturdays And Detroit Lions On Sundays Shirt but in fact I love this theoretical limit of “doable.” The real wildcards are (1) weather and (2) when you hit certain cities, and the traffic that they have. If you get either weather or traffic, drop those numbers by a good 10-30%. Perfect trip for me. It takes a few hours to get settled in and in the zone, then it’s just loud music and drive. Why put yourself through that – to save $125 for a 2 star hotel somewhere? After about 7-8 hours, I’m done. Driving that much isn’t even safe… Most spots out west have free camping if you look it up. Heck find a safe spot away from the highway or better yet a rest area and set up shop for the night We did Salt Lake City to Vancouver, BC in 1 day. 950 miles and about 15 hours. It wasn’t too bad, was exhausted by the time we got there though. I did 1400 miles straight once from Puerto San Julian to Buenos Aires in Argentina for a booty call. I only stopped for gas along the way. It was bonkers and and took me 25 hours with gas stops included. The final 300 miles I lost all perception of time and distance. Everything became a blur. Never again. 1,113 Is my personal longest straight drive with no other driver. I’ve done this drive a handful of times over the decades. Southern East Coast to Mid-West (past the Mississippi river).
