If that student is in high school, it would be an accurate meme. But if you try telling me this Michigan Football National Champs Helmet 2023 T-Shirt and I will buy this is an elementary school student? Nah, those kids are too mature for that.

Michigan Football National Champs Helmet 2023 T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

And the Michigan Football National Champs Helmet 2023 T-Shirt and I will buy this over saturation of pigment even if they are real, like, nobody is going to put that much amount (unless we are talking about lipsticks, one swipe stuff). Yes, and filtered all to Hell with only the most optimal lighting. Give me variation. I have to Google everything. Yeah swatchitforme is great! I post & comment there once in a while. Tik Tok & Instagram is also pretty good, provided they’re not filtering the videos / photos. I’d been buying makeup far too long before I realised a lot of the swatches I saw online were fake and wouldn’t look like that on my skin tone. Omg yes. I used to be so confused because they’d have it swatched one way on someone with a similar skin tone to me, and then I’d buy it and it looked shitty/insane. Whether something will flatter your coloring is not just about how it looks next to your skin, it’s also about how it blends with and changes with your skin undertones actually underneath it! like it took me so long to realize that swatches, when real, were usually 4+ layers of the product put on with very strong, firm pressure — which I am not going to be able to replicate on my eye unless I want to f’ing lose it. then after they’ve already done what’s basically real life editing, they do a buttload of post-processing in photoshop to make it even more unrealistic and impossible for a user to replicate.
