society trains a lot of men to have ego problems and internalize things and theyll grasp to anything to feel superior to someone else This is one of the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this main reasons I identify as non-binary. It’s weird because I feel like I shouldn’t have to , but it makes so much of a difference to me when I reject these expectations and pronouns that people throw at me because of my birth sex. I salut every women and afab who can just not give a fuck and be their true selves. Of course I don’t think lesser of people who are affected by this shit. I’m one of those and it weighs on my mental health a lot. Edit: I feel like I need to clarify, because this is Reddit and someone will always misconstrue something, I am not TELLING OP to transition Yeah, a lot of the people who I’ve seen with similar self-perceptions to OP’s now identify as non-binary or as trans men. At some point you have to ask yourself if the label you were given still fits. If so, great. If not, there are other options.
Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style
ShareSounds like you’re nonbinary or similar! From what I’ve seen, most people who identify as women are okay with having girl haircuts, girl clothes, etc, and they also identify those as their haircuts, clothes, behaviors etc. I say this because you say it’s something deeper to be percieved as a man in an egalitarian sense, or a person. And also because it bothers you to be differentiated in a “she’s a woman, not a man” sense and not just in a “she’s inferior” sense. If you really do prefer to be seen as a man and not just a person, then it might be worth exploring your gender identity a little more. 🙂 What you’re describing sounds a lot like having a gender identity that is non-binary or agender. At the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this very least, you don’t strongly identify as a woman, which may mean that your gender identity is different from what is most common. You might be interested to read up on the topic of gender identity, gender dysphoria, and gender euphoria, and see if any of it resonates with you. it sounds like a fine line between some non-binary and cis peoples gender experiences, but comes down to what makes you most comfortable. In OP’s post, the only indication I got that this might be more than a cis person’s annoyance with gender stereotypes is that they would rather be perceived as a man. But on immediate impression, people are treated based on looks/vibe, so since OP is frustrated with gender roles yet says nothing about discomfort with sex/body/appearance, I’m doubtful if identifying as non-binary could help them in any meaningful way?
I wonder about this for myself sometimes because I hate being perceived in a limited way by my assigned gender, but I don’t experience discomfort about my sex or gender presentation. I figure in my case it’s probably not an issue I could improve with identity reevaluation / pronoun change. My assigned gender is female and I’m happy with she, they, or he pronouns (although no one assumes ‘he’, which is fine). However, I like that my partner perceives both femininity and masculinity within me, and that I see the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same in him – it makes us feel balanced and without gender alienation from each other. When asked, we identify as cis/straight since we don’t feel closeted otherwise, but it’s not a meaningful identity aside from being conscious of our privilege there. We feel strongly about disempowering gender stereotypes and not judging anyone based on gender identity / presentation. We’re the same size and share most of our wardrobe.

I’d be curious if my experience is relatable to some non-binary people, or more so to cis people (who just hate gender stereotypes)? No one is stopping you from smelling, dressing, etc. the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way you want. In fact, as a woman, you have far greater freedom here than men do. If you want to wear a dress and put on makeup, go nuts. If you want to wear a suit and tie, feel free. No one cares how you dress. Men, however, face much greater social restrictions on how we express ourselves and behave. Also, lots of women say they want to be treated the same way that men are treated, but they really do not want this. The world is not really that kind to men. Read up on the experiences of transmen and how the world treats men. The world is nice to women; it is not nice to men. The rampant sexual abuse problem shows otherwise. Yes men get sexually abused but not nearly at the numbers women do. I guess if you consider that nice….
Tbh, considering my own experience with gender struggles in the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this past, being a detransitioner who used to identify as trans, I think you should be happy about the way you are, because well, you don’t get to choose your biological gender and sex, and everything can be beautiful and awesome the way it is, even with struggles. Believe me, I learned to love being a man, its 100x times better than being an in-between, the trauma and suffering during my transition taught me how precious I’m as a male, I was just bitchin with obsessive thoughts and bad thoughts. I truly think you’re precious too. My experience was eye-opening. Things are beautiful, there is no need for men to complain about how their lives differ from women, or vice-versa. Don’t complain about being a biological woman, there is so much value in that, and then there is trauma yes, but well, this is because humanity struggles with bad stuff such as fighting each other, that is not because you are a woman. I truly dislike how you romantize being a man, fucoff. This is sickening. Men don’t exist to be better than women… Men and women complement each other, we don’t envy or despise each other… Ugh… I am so sick of this, How come no one realize how this kind of gender discussion stink? Maybe I should re-weight how precious I think you are, no free love to mean kids.
Try to start loving yourself the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way you are, as a woman. Recognize that both genders struggle with different, although similar things. I have found out that the great thing about my pigmentation is that I look like I could be coming from many areas: Brazil, Colombia, Caribbean, North Africa, Indian subcontinent… So curious as to your response to this post. Why is your response to someone venting “Do you think I have it better than you?” There are benefits to being a woman. Like being allowed to strike a conversation with other women. The sisterhood. Not being seen as a potential physical threat. The list goes on… I understand what you’re saying, but there are fundamental differences between most men and most women, even neurologically. I agree that we should all just be people, but you can’t simply do away with millennia of cultural development. Besides, there is a reason women were originally dominated by men. We have different values in many ways. It’s not like physical strength is the only reason women became subservient. I don’t know many women who don’t like cats, I know lots of men who don’t though. A huge part of that comes from our cultural norms, but where do you think those came from? Fundamental differences in our behaviour and priorities. I work in an industrial field, and about 99% of employees with engineering educations are men. That’s not because women can’t be engineers, it’s because they simply aren’t interested in the subject. It’s not as if our culture can be blamed entirely for that, there has to be a predisposition common to women that draws them toward different fields.
The majority of women and men are different in many ways. You simply can’t expect people to start behaving as if that’s not the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this case. I think it’s normal to be frustrated about how society places you in boxes based on things you have no control over. You saying you want to be treated like the “local Dave” will still have you in a bunch of new categories that don’t fit. The issue is more about how you are perceived vs how you actually are and I think we all struggle with that. You keep saying that women and men are the same but they aren’t. Even as simple as the way we think is different. It’s not just “we just have a couple of different body parts.” The differences affect who we are. One of my favorite experiments is getting babies and making them choose toys. All kinds of colors and types. Girls mostly chose things like dolls while boys chose like cards and balls. The differences exist from birth. Accepting it and embracing it is the only real choice here.
It is normal to get frustrated about being a woman. It is normal to get frustrated about being a man. It is normal to get frustrated. But you are different, this is unavoidable, and the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this different treatment is deeply rooted in human biology, the same way other mammals treat each other differently. For example dogs behave differently towards one another depending on sex, humans are just animals and we have instincts and inherent behaviors just like any other animal. Also, most women expect to be treated differently to men, even if they claim they want to be 100% equal, they actually don’t. I suggest you find some way to learn to deal with this because it’s not going away, and TBH it’s not even a real problem. If you’re just asking if being, is frustrating. Ya, normal. Everyone feels frustration. That’s why it’s an emotion we have a word for.
To be honest I’m not even sure being trans provides a clear answer on this? Yes I’ve lived as both genders but did I really ever live as a man. Society saw me as one but the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this role always felt like a poor fit. Now I’m more comfortable in my own body. I’ve noticed some casual sexism but it’s less than I expected from what I’ve read online. I’ve been told by friends I’m just bad at seeing it which is entirely possible. I think what I can say is both come with their own challenges. At this point I can’t really tell which is easier since my experience with both genders has been outside of the norm. Who gives a shit. You’re making a big deal out of nothing. The world has real problems. We are in almost 2 trillion of student debt. We just crossed 1 trillion of credit card debt. A meal at McDonald’s costs $15. Rent in the city center costs 40% of your income. And you’re upset because someone called you meticulous and a guy in a suit thinks women want to smell like flowers? You need to reevaluate how good your life really must be if this is your biggest concern. lmfao sexism doesn’t matter cause STUDENT DEBT?? listing mcdonald’s meal prices as an example of more important problems????? ur being gooooofyyyyy.
Let me guess. You’re 32, have bright blue hair, and aren’t paying your student debt because big daddy Biden will cancel it? This “sexism” you speak of is meaningless. No men complain about their vacuum cleaners and mops being short and hurting their backs because they need to bend down. Tysm for your answer, I understand what you mean. However, I’m aware of those problems and I suffer from them. You’ll have to excuse me on the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this student debt matter though, I can’t talk about it because education in my country works a bit differently. I just wanted to share a thought on the Internet It’s crazy to me that women can think like this. Women have so many more privileges than men in society. If men complain about their place or the injustices they’re ignored or shamed. Trust me you would not do well as a man, what you want is to keep all the privileges you have as a woman and also have the very few privileges that men have as well.
So . . . you want to be treated like a man? In all regards or just those that fit your desire or you feel would personally benefit you? Don’t take that the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this wrong way, i don’t mean any offense by it. I am a man. I have a daughter and a wife. I want people to treat them differently than how a person typically treats a man. For an extreme example, if they are on a sinking cruise ship way out in the ocean, I don’t want either of them to be told, sorry ma’am, these life boats are for men and children first. Men and women are different in whole/generally speaking. Women are wonderful and better at many, many things than is the general man . . . and vice versa. But in the end, each person is an individual and is potentially very likely the break the “general gender mold”.
Some things would be easier if you were a man but you may discover that some things would actually be harder if you were a man. That’s because there’s advantages and trade offs to everything. If you were a man, you would be able to walk into a bar and nobody would give a shit about you. But then again, nobody would give a shit about you, including the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this cute girls who you’re interested in and that might get lonely. If you were a man, you wouldn’t be slut shamed for getting laid. But then again, getting laid is harder if you’re a man. If you were a man, nobody is going to send you creepy messages on online dating sites. But then again, you can’t get creepy messages if you don’t even get matches in the first place, which would be common if you were a man.
If you were a man, you would be bigger and more intimidating. But then again, you probably can’t walk into a kids park all by yourself without people thinking you’re a pedophile. If you were a man, you’d have the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this potential to make more money. But then again, your social and romantic value is partially judged on your ability to make money. If you were a man, your short stature would be considered unmasculine and unsexy in contrast to being cute and feminine if you were a girl. So there’s definitely advantages to being a man, but there are definitely disadvantages as well. The question is, would you be willing to accept the trade offs if you were to switch genders? OP -Your words make no sense. On the one hand, you say “But if I were to choose, I much rather be percieved as a man. I’d be happier. Not because of privilege or something, I’m lucky to live in a egalitarian country where I can do almost anything a man does. It’s something deeper.” Oh yes, because of (male) privilege, OP. And don’t deny it. Egalitarian country, you say? Never been one. It exists only in some naive minds. That is quite normal. For me, I am a woman they same way a female horse is a mare. Everything else is personal taste and character. I don’t mind that people interact differently with me than they would with a man. I do the same to them. I’m a woman in my 40s and I don’t feel treated or judged differently for being a woman in 99% of my daily activities. I also understand that companies market things to women or men and for some of it it frustrates me but I’m not angry about it (like, the corporate consumerism bothers me, not so much the items themselves).
I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up without gender being as “in your face”? Like, having simple gender norms almost lets people be more fluid than having hyper analyzed gender identities. Being a tomboy was just a thing. Not a good thing. Not a bad thing. No one was fixating on if the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this tomboy was identifying or being identified “correctly,” we just were out playing and having fun. Honestly I think people my age place less value in fitting “social gender norms” even if they tend to support birth sexual gender identity as default. yeah this is how i feel but in a non binary way. like i am AFAB and i don’t want to be perceived as a woman but i’m unfortunately seen as a gender first rather than a person who is just living my life looking and acting in a way that feels comfortable for me. other people decided me just existing is somehow feminine and therefore i should be treated differently (although i’m sure if i was to tell them i’m nonbinary i’d be treated even worse). but yeah it’s absolutely frustrating to have people decide how they will treat you based on their own perception of gender
Same! Your thoughts and feelings are really relatable for me. It was especially frustrating for me in school, most of my friends were boys and it was frustrating because I never was allowed to belong with the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this boys. They were my friends but I was the only one being left out of sleepovers and such because I was a girl. Honestly we were little kids, it wouldn’t have harmed anyone if I had been allowed to participate in sleepovers with the boys. In school we had sleepovers where everyone from our class would sleep in the classroom regardless of gender. And I‘m an adult now and it’s even worse. I have other friends who are women and I like them but I also want to feel accepted with my friends who are men. I don’t want to be treated differently because I‘m a woman. Why would I treat a friend differently because of their gender? If someone likes to go shopping I will go shopping with them regardless of their gender and if they prefer to play soccer I’ll play soccer with them.
Fuck the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this haters. Be you, Strive to be happy, and accept that there will always be fools and the quick to judge. I feel the same way. It really frustrated me in highschool when I wasn’t really allowed to be “one of the boys” and hangout with all my friends. That and I wasn’t treated in the same “guy friend” way I wanted to be. Valid points but lemme tell ya we guys are brutal sometimes you don’t wanna be treated like “one of the boys” (seriously guys who say this are the most fucked) If you were a man, you’d be dealing with the exact same issue but from the opposite side. People are quick to judge and quick to assume things. It sucks but it’s how most people are in general. “Beauvoir asks, “What is woman?”[8] She argues that man is considered the default, while woman is considered the “Other”: “Thus, humanity is male, and man defines woman not herself, but as relative to him.”” If you run into a person with a specific haircut 50 times in your life, you will think the next person you meet fits into that category. Your gender is none of my business, but this post reads to me like someone at the beginning of a gender transition. “Gender is fake, stop acting like it’s real” is a classic nonbinary thought/emotion, and you say that on a deep level, you’d rather be seen as a man or a woman. Whatever choice you end up making, you might feel really seen by seeking out essays or fiction by nonbinary and trans writers– a lot of these ideas might resonate with those. — signed, a nonbinary person who is fine with being perceived as a cis woman by 90% of people, even though gender is fake.
It also makes me fucking crazy to be a woman. All I can say is i’m trying to help facilitate a world where we don’t define people based on their gender as the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this FIRST THING we know about them and the first way we describe them. I mean it’s normal to get frustrated when you don’t get the treatment you prefer but if you wear a skirt I’m not going to perceive you like Dave because you don’t act like Dave. Gendered behavioral standards exist and if you don’t meet the ones you want then you aren’t going to be treated the same way. Effeminate men aren’t treated like Dave either for that same reason of not acting like Dave. On a side note I can totally smell the difference between a man and a woman. I agree with your stance. We’re people first, and everything else, whether that’s race, sex, gender identity, etc. all comes a very different second. We’ll always have more in common than we do in difference. But … humans category think, and it’s been drilled into us by evolution. The apes who could category think and put tigers, snakes, that mud pit, fire, etc. into the ‘dangerous’ category and teach their kids about what’s dangerous … survived. We’ve been sorting things into piles ever since, and it’s still largely beneficial, but we will continue to overuse those categories on occasion.
In the Michael Myers character the slasher film series HalloweenT-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this modern age, it’s especially difficult, because we were making some very good headway against this kind of tribalism I’m talking about, but now our misguided selves have decided that we’re going to to back to sorting people, but this time so that we can give them legs up, or dedicated programs, or jobs specific to them in some capacity. I’m sure all these people mean well, but we’re just re-training the current generations into the very category think that drove most of our ‘isms’ in the past, for the most part. Whether you’re a bigot and see black first and person second, or you’re an administrator of some program that sees black first and person second, you’re still engaging in this demeaning, limiting category thinking.
