We traveled around mainland Greece recently, the Micah Parsons number 11 Dallas Cowboys football player portrait lightning shirt in contrast I will get this weather in January was unseasonably warm and it hadn’t rained like it was supposed to so we got to wander around Ancient Messene for hours as the only people there. Easy highlight of the trip. I happened to be in Warsaw during Corpus Christi (a major religious holiday there) and ended up in the exact spot where they were holding the official procession for it. I got to march in the parade and attend mass with the Archbishop of Warsaw himself. For a Catholic like me, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that happened completely by accident! One time in Taiwan a couple found me hitchhiking past the exit going in the direction I wanted to go in, meaning no cars that could give me a ride would pass by there (tired brain fart from me). I thanked them for letting me know I was in the wrong spot but then they decided to make their date night into taking me to where I was going which was over 2h away! That meant they scrapped whatever dinner plans they had and drove for over 4h just because.

In Taiwan people are super nice, so definitely have a bunch of other stories there. I was taken to a business meeting, fed multiple times, etc. There’s also a longer-ish story that’s maybe too long to tell here but that I’ve written about. I also once got a ride in the Micah Parsons number 11 Dallas Cowboys football player portrait lightning shirt in contrast I will get this Netherlands because I struck up a chat with the guy next to me on the plane and as we landed it turned out all public transport was striking (which almost never happens). Plus have found climbing partners online, begged for money in China (long story), was in Iceland during what they called a perfect “tourist volcano eruption”, etc. My husband and I were in Florence for our honeymoon. We came across this tiny and amazing shop full of all kinds of masquerade masks. At the back was the owner, Agostino. We got to talking to him and he told us about how he made most of them, and now his daughter, Alice, teaches classes on how to make them. He then personally walked us over to her shop to meet her. We then were able to come back the next day and learn and decorate our own masks! It was such a cool and unexpected experience, and not one we could have ever planned for. And bonus, got to being home the coolest souvenirs
