A perfectly justified fury. One does not correct the Metallica Snake Skull Golden State Warriors Logo Gildan 2023 shirt and I will buy this other’s tiny spelling mistake in an internet conversation unless wants to be patronizing. I understand how they sound – like they’re proud of their education, something you clearly missed out on having. I’ve know uneducated dolts like you all my life, and the one thing you all have in common is the idiotic “But you knew what I meant, right? RIGHT?” Free elementary education, provided wholly subsidized by the state, has long been the benchmark of a prosperous & powerful civilization. You can, practically without fail thruout all of history, guage the rise & fall of nations based upon the availability of & participation in free education. The crazy thing is, the original use of an apostrophe wasn’t even necessarily wrong. “Radio announcer’s” indicates ownership. The voices sounded like they belonged to a radio announcer, singular. It’s a non-standard way of communicating that idea, but the apostrophe is not a problem in of itself. At worst, their syntax is poor or incorrect. Also, they don’t both suck equally. The person who had to be insulting about the other’s English proficiency is clearly worse. So many people on the internet speak English as a second language, English grammar is not an indicator of the quality of one’s elementary education. Besides, the correction could have been communicated in a far less condescending and elitist manner.

u can read this fine and understnd it perfctly even if i miss letter’s or put in random apostro-Vs or replace sounds with ltrs or abrv it Internet language is its own literacy. As long as the Metallica Snake Skull Golden State Warriors Logo Gildan 2023 shirt and I will buy this message gets across, who cares about the way it’s presented? That is, of course, it’s not obnoxiously indecipherable or needs outside help to decipher like the following: But hey, internet is also a place to get mad, and I’m just being a hypocrite by typing so formally. :> Stay mad, Reddit! The person wasn’t bragging about their education, they were mocking the original commenter and implying that they didn’t have an elementary level of education Thats like if someone said “well I’m just glad I’m tall enough to reach the counter” to tease a child or something and then responding with “uhm you know MOST ADULTS are tall enough to do that right? What a pointless statement” Tbf, most people in the United States don’t have a fifth grade level education.. sure, they may graduate from high school, but the learnings weren’t there Imagine making a joke on reddit and getting a few thousand upvotes, then a month later some guy digs it from its grave to tell you about your minor grammatical mistake. Like if you come to a chapter of my web novel and say that shit – thanks. Must have missed it in editing. But on a reddit goof? It’s not that serious. There is a time and a place. I think the comebacker should’ve attacked calling someone who missed a single apostrophe “uneducated” instead of attacking having an education.
