Back when Craig Ferguson had the Metallica M72 World Tour 2023 St. Louis shirt and I will buy this Late Late Show, his producer would censor bad language. Craig would appeal right there during his interviews. His producer would stick to his decision leaving Craig with his only option: calling the producer a racist. It’s actually pretty straight forward. Are you? If you’re not than you don’t have to pay anymore mind to it because you know yourself. If you think that you are or might have been at some point, accept that you’ve made those mistakes and make a difference in yourself. You can however identify the source of their frustration and rectify that however, not because you might be racist, but because your actions may have resulted in an adverse reaction. Please don’t use examples of “several Black employees you’ve hired” to judge your character, they’re just people you hired. You appropriately didn’t consider them as any lesser than other people.

It’s no different to someone calling you stupid when you make a mistake, you’re not stupid but you DID make a mistake, their reaction might be poor but you can still apologise for making a mistake, you don’t have to apologise for being stupid. I say, “ok sure. if it helps you sleep better.” I usually get called racist when I don’t sell alcohol after last call. You ignore it and don’t respond. Fascist, bootlicker, racist, liberal, magats, commies, etc etc get thrown around so much they have pretty much lost meaning. Just keep doing you job. Always take the Metallica M72 World Tour 2023 St. Louis shirt and I will buy this time to reflect on whether your comments could have been misinterpreted. Most likely not, but it always helps to try to look at it from other angles whenever someone of less intelligence has an outburst (college degree means educated in a specific way, not automatically intelligent). It might help you dealing with people like that in the future. The world has a lot of different people, with different perceived levels of entitlement, so you will be called a racist, and people will be racist against you. Just take it all in as a learning opportunity either about yourself, your own perceptions, the community you deal with, or just how to better communicate with people of different intelligence levels.
