I feel I should explain. The Thames has frozen over in the Merry Christmas ACDC Rock Band 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this past (like 1600s or something), thick enough to hold fairs and markets and other events on it. I just think it’d be cool to see that again, like a Christmas Market every year on the Thames. Edit 2. I might have been too hasy saying “every year”, maybe once a decade or so, rare enough that it still feels special. Also, I imagine the temperatures would have to be lower than back then because the river is faster and narrower now than it was then too. Good thinking wouldn’t want 18 to 20 all year, Maybe -5, Dec and Jan… enough to have a white Christmas and enjoy some brisk but sunny walks and kill off invasive insects as we don’t want them to take hold. Also think it’s good for plants to have a cold snap.

It used to freeze because of “Old London Bridge” that had so many supports (19!) it would slow the Merry Christmas ACDC Rock Band 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this water long enough to freeze and act like a dam. It’s not the outside temperature you need to address, it’s the energy in the river you need to remove. People forget the temperature is taken in the shade. It was only 19c the other day but in the sun it was actually significantly hotter. I don’t think I’d really like one temperature year round, whatever the temperature. But if I had to, that’s probably what I’d go for. This would have me leaving the country. Great on a weekend with nowt to do, awful when you’re trying to do anything except dry washing or get smashed in a beer garden. Tbh I think I run hot. Reading through the comments people with run warm and want it around 16 or can’t produce their own body heat and want the sky to catch fire. My partner on the other hand is a human furnace, he starts complaining how warm it is when it gets to 10C, haha. Definitely a male female divide too. Been studies on office working that show men like it cooler and women like it hotter Testosterone levels make your body hotter, basically! So post-pubertal men with normal T levels tend to prefer it slightly cooler, whereas women with normal T levels prefer it to be warmer. Trans guys tend to find they switch from one to the other after a couple of months on T, for example.
